This is our normal road in Nigeria, but abnormal in the US.

Anyway, how many road like this do you see daily in the US? I know that bad road like this is in the US but is not common.

A Ghanaian working in the United States as an Amazon delivery driver has shared a video showing the condition of a rural road in the US — sparking widespread discussion on X.

The post attracted mixed reactions. Some users explained that this is typical of rural areas, noting that such roads are often quiet, with few residents, as they mostly lead to farmlands.

Others pointed out that roads like this can even be found in urban areas of some African countries — especially in Ghana, the driver's home country.

This is a pure lie, I've lived in both rural and city in America and never came across such anyway. In America, before building home, they first make roads and name the streets with the post. In fact most rural areas enjoys the best roads because of reduced traffic, unlike the city that always have road constructions here and there.
so you have lived in every state in USA ...paycheck by paycheck and ranking credit card debts and mortgage debts
Re: Ghanaian Amazon Driver Shows The State Of A Rural Road In The US (photos/video) by wowcatty:
They call it dirt road and sometimes owned by individual farmers who construct it themselves. People buy virgin land and just run tractors through, and of course they still receive Amazon packages.

If he or she hasn’t been to farms, chances of seeing this is slim. It’s definitely not a public road.

Re: Ghanaian Amazon Driver Shows The State Of A Rural Road In The US (photos/video) by Yankee101:
Rural means rural
We have back roads and trails out here that are intentionally left like that because of heavy equipment like tractors used on farms. If they go on regular roads you’ll need to fix it or the country just plains leave it like that because that’s what rural means

The place he is describing is the far hinterland in the US and most times they have drivable roads connecting them to the nearest towns.

I can bet such roads are like 2% if not less than in the whole of America!

Make the guy go rest because it will take Ghana like 5000 years to near America for infrastructural development!

Even if they existed as you seek justification for a backward africa the Probability 95% americans will use that road in there lifetime is zero

Those roads are roads to know where in particular BUT come to naija ... main roads commuted by travellers are in terrible state that's the valid difference

when we see New York City and all these beautiful places posted online you will never think some Americans still use pit toilets. So when I saw that it’s a sign that we Africans are not living in stone age after all.

No, I have to see that to believe it. Even the Amish and Menonites who keep to ancient way of living, no electricity, no Tv, but they still have plumbing systems cos of codes. No shalanga in the USA except you’re talking about off grid living faraway from residential areas where I’ve seen a very few use what they call composite toilets. I don’t know how it works but I’ve seen them explain it and it’s still water closet system that you have to flush, but where the wastes go is what I don’t know.

I don't know why some people always post unnecessary things online
He is a Gen-Z. They are always very stupid. Others far better than him have passed the road but never made noise about it.

He is busy reporting the USA to the Internet sit-at-home judges.

He will lose his job.
