Dr. Kandibe, the younger sister of Hollywood actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, has reacted to the death of former President, Muhammadu Buhari, in a hospital in the United Kingdom.

In a post on her Instagram story on Monday, July 14, Kandibe said the late ex-President's decision to seek care abroad sends the wrong message about the state of healthcare in Nigeria.

“Served as Nigerian president for 8 years! D!ed in a UK hospital. What a shame he couldn't do anything for the state of healthcare in Nigeria…even he carried himself abroad to treat himself. What a message,” the mother of three wrote.

“Patiently waiting for a president that will build systems in Nigeria, that they are proud of will patronage.”

Buhari passed a very strong message of personal failure. What a shame.

Mamman Daura is also alleged to be there. So what is really wrong with African leaders?

Our leaders do not simply retreat to foreign hospitals because we lack the right facilities at home.
They do so often to hide the real extent of their health challenges.

A Kenyan example.

Remembered this same buhari promised to put an end to medical trip abroad by political office holders.

The same man died in an ordinary clinic abroad.
I am very sure the stand of that clinic is not more than that of Abuja national hospital or the state house clinic.

The doctors treating them abroad are of the same standard with the same doctors that japa from Nigeria to Europe for greener pastures.
