He has not changed the strategy. Christian IBO will always vote for him because he is an IBO man and they want an IBO president. Shaykh Jingir is simply playing tribal politics here. He is also not helping Islam with this outburst. Even though I am not a fan of Peter Obi, I can't support Jingir on this. The prayer offered at shaykh Sambo's institution was a fair one. In fact, an average obidient would have taken offence with it because it spared no one. The prayer clearly mentioned that even if Peter Obi was a stumbling block to Nigeria's progress, let him die.

Lacking no religious ground to take on shaykh Sambo, Jingir resorted to tribal sentiments while in the cloak of a religious leader. That is wrong.
