I have never understood why children of political holders in Nigeria are allowed to go and live and study overseas like it's an expected right of passage🙄...why would your leaders fix your schools and hospitals then if their families won't be affected by the rot ?. This should be frowned upon....

I remember my days in Government college,
Although it was during military rule, high ranking politicians, generals, civil servants all had their children there, and the standard was very ok, the meals were always freshly made, the teachers took pride in being there!

That's how it should be. Look at South Africa, the standards of both the schools and Higher learning institutions are world class attracting foreigners, doctors and professors from around the world because the political class and government workers are made to attend them as well with the public. And private Universities are not allowed, only public universities are allowed and well funded ,and whether you're poor or rich, you must go them for your education. That's why standards are high.
