The Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry on #EndSARS found that people were killed at the Lekki Toll Gate.

In its report submitted to the Lagos State government in November 2021, the panel described the incident of October 20, 2020, as a "massacre." The report stated that officers of the Nigerian Army shot, injured, and killed unarmed, helpless, and defenseless protesters.

The panel's findings included:

11 people were confirmed killed, with four others listed as missing and presumed dead.

48 casualties in total, including those killed, missing, and others who were assaulted by security forces.

The Nigerian Army and police were found to have shot at protesters without provocation or justification.

The panel also found that there were attempts by security agencies and other government entities to cover up the incident, including cleaning up the scene to remove evidence and preventing ambulances from accessing injured victims.

Sometimes I don’t get it, are we expected to lie and not express our displeasure because someone is death. Has death cancelled all the wickedness and his nonchallant attitude. Buhari was a wicked president with zero episodes

If you speak good of the dead as well, your turn is coming. But what's the rationale behind "don't speak I'll of the dead" even when you are not lying? You are just giving account of his/her life. I think we are being hypocritical or superstitious because I don't think if someone beheads ones mother, you will call the person an angel or say he/she gave your mother life when he was alive.

There's no need mocking someone dead no matter how bad they were because it might be your turn tomorrow.

If you want to talk about the bad Buhari did don't mention that of Umaru Dikko. Do you know what Umaru Dikko did? Were you old enough or born to know the story?

Nobody is saying you shouldn't talk about the bad they might have done. There is way you can say that without making mockery of his death because good or bad we will all die one day.

Let me give you an example;
"Buhari didn't do well as a president he brought hardship on Nigerians regardless let the Almighty God be the judge. May his soul rest in peace".

That is a good example, I have passed a message without making mockery of his death. Now tell me is it the same way she wrote?
I'm not mocking the dead, I'm saying it the way it is.

We're all gonna die, that's certain. But I'm not going to sugarcoat anything because someone who was terrible died undecided

He was so terrible that he couldn't fix any sector of this country, he kept running abroad to treat himself with taxpayers money as if people abroad don't die in their hospitals undecided

She share same sentiment with many of the Nigerian population and youth most especially, me included. If you were not there at the lekki toll gate massacre then you wouldn’t understand. Buhari demise should remind people in power that whatever they are killing the masses for to achieve does not matter at the long run, buhari is at the other side giving an account of his time on earth and so shall everyone of us.

Same tribe will now want the north to vote thier brother. Buhari is so loved in the north and over twenty years, no northern politicians come close to his popularity and influence. They will understand better in 2027. Nzogbu nzogbu ways has destroyed them patapata.
The way they have been spewing hate on Buhari on social media, they think the North is not watching. They think the North will make their best candidate Peter Obi, the head of the opposition against APC. The North is watching.

Ok I have clarified myself, my point is not saying he didn't do bad things and you are not the one to tell me all that. When Buhari took over power from Shagari in 1983 I was is secondary school about writing WAEC. So I probably know more about him than you.

Great then!

The only reason I mocked him from my previous post was the embarrassment he still brought to Nigeria.

Imagine an ex president being shipped back to Nigeria as a cargo, haba nah!

If he had built just one standard hospital for himself and other elites when in office, he probably would have died there in Nigeria and not being brought back as a cargo from the UK.

These politicians eh!

I don't really get the blackmail from some people about 2027. For crying out loud, People have rights to air and speak their minds about someone, especially when the person in question is or was a public figure. So, there's no need threatening people about 2027, we vote ideology and not tribe.
