Ukraine was one of the most military-capable countries before this war but the media makes it seem they were unarmed.Even at that, Ukraine has been receiving financial, logistics, intelligence, manpower support from more than 20 countries, but they're still having their asses handed to them by Russia.

If Ukraine had stuck to the Minsk agreement, this wouldn't have happened.

And you think Russia is fighting the war alone without supporters like North Korean soldiers and others? Anyways, Trump tried to resolve the issues but Putin isn't ready for that. The major issue is the fear of the expansion of NATO of which Putin doesn't want. The plan of having a millitary base in Ukraine and the bid for Ukraine to join NATO increased his fear. In summary, this is a battle of supremacy. The U.S wants to rule the world but Russia don't want that. They are trying very hard to prevent that. However, this doesn't mean Russia or Putin doesn't desire to rule the world either.
