Angela, a mother of five and proud Aussie native, made a life-altering decision in 2019: she divorced her longtime husband after decades of marriage, citing years of unhappiness. They spoke for hours daily, despite their different worlds — Angela in Australia, Bright working hard in South Africa. When they met in Nigeria in 2021, it only took one day for Bright to propose, and nine days later, they were married.
