After all, he has taken it as a past time to be paying condolences to victims of attacks and the bereaved without giving a hoot about what people say about him. Why then did he fail to attend this crucial burial that seems to be at the very top of it all?.

I am worried about the above statement. So its solely northerners that hold power and as such have the sole power to hand over power to anyone.

You should also ask questions about Obasanjo, Gowon, and all the state governors including ministers who should have been there. Keep chasing shadows.

Obi was among the first people that sent his condolences. What else is greater than that. His presence at the burial wouldn't have risen the corpse.
