In 2013/2014, the political tide turned towards the opposition party because major bloc in the North and SW are together in the new APC. Again I repeat major bloc with established politicians holding electoral office.

Reverse is happening now. Most major bloc still remain in the ruling party and only “ex” politicians without any political capital are in ADC.

You better go and find another hustle. Even in that same North, Tinubu will defeat Atiku by vote numbers margin (NE + NW + NC) just as he did in 2023 outside incumbency.

If I ask you to tell me who delivered votes for Obi in all the states he won, can you tell me? If yes, I will wait.

My point is, Obi doesn’t need ‘expired politicians’, as you called them, to deliver votes for him; especially not in a state like Edo.

All Obi needs is for them to deploy their foot soldiers to protect his votes. Or he can’t do that as well?

because he did commission White elephants projects and inflated half baked contracts like we have in lagos and other states doesn't mean he didn't leave a great legacy. Go and check was was no1 in education since his time till now.

Check the healthcare, check the debt fee state he left compared to other criminal governors, Check how much he left in the treasury and the transparent records.

Till date lagos and rivers state financial records has the least transparency rating.

What delivered vote for Obi where he won is because he is an Ibo candidate with SE saying it’s their turn. Then the next is the religious factor of Muslim-muslim which the Northern Christian frantically vote against.

Check the tide now, Obi base in the Middle belt is reducing because the Muslim-muslim sentiment don’t sell no more. However, Obi alone cannot win a national election because his base is not enough, he need politicians across the divide to give him footprint in area with huge votes.

If you want to understand how politicians play game, check how Tinubu won the North (NW + NE + NC) on margin over Atiku. He was able to use politicians with weight in the area to get the needed votes. That is what I am saying. People like this man won’t deliver vote for anybody, not even himself.
