Scavengers have broken bridge railings in Lagos, stolen manholes on the road resulting in accident and death of commuters, scavengers or bola boys as they are called have stolen PHCN power line cables, scavengers even break people fences to steal iron, an incident happened on my property in Lagos, as well as a popular estate in Marwa Lagos, the scavengers were caught, scavengers have attacked and robbed people, scavengers are a huge security threat because these criminals roam about with no address or id card, they can easily commit crimes and disappear.

The latest on the news is scavengers causing a bomb to explode.

Gov. Sanwo Olu scavengers roaming about everywhere makes Lagos look very dirty and unplanned, a mega city can not have such people moving from place to place with loads on barrows, obstructing traffic and constituting nuisance. During Fashola these people were stopped and arrested, because they are a security and social nuisance, in the case of riots or violence, these are the people used to cause havoc. It is not good for tourism and investors to the state.

Lagos State must ban scavengers and use Lawma to do recycling jobs.

Scavengers need to be banned, their stealing of manholes and destruction of bridges for iron has been widely documented.

When chaos breaks out, they are the undocumented untraceable people with no addressee who will cause havoc.

Lagos state government should use the task force in mopping up these folks and educate them on the dangers associated with the work they are doing. They should be documented and given uniforms for proper identification

Lawma can do their job, they should be sent back to their states, Lagos need sanitation, most live on the streets, and are a security threat. It is a disgrace that we have Lawma yet allow these people constitute nuisance in Lagos state. Kano state arrest these almajiris and street kids and take them back to their home town, I read this in the news one time, I wonder why Lagos state government think it's cool for a modern mega city to have miscreants and hoodlums roaming everywhere.

Imagine 100,000 almajiris and bola boys giving birth to 10 kids each in their poverty and ignorance in Lagos state...this will only fuel crime, as breeding kids with no social and economic safety nets is breeding future bandits and armed roobers.

No tourist will come to a city filled with miscreants.

These accident that is as a result of manhole stealing leads to death, sanwo olu should emulate Fashola, when Sir Fashola was in leadership, Lagos was sane, clean, and all these nuisance were rehabilitated with their families...not always smiling and being happy, a governor's job is to maintain sanity, prevent unnecessary deaths and make Lagos sane and devoid of nuisance. Sanwo Olu seems carried away.

A state filled with beggars and dirty people disposing garbages indiscriminately can never be a world class city, you must sanitise Lagos, take these beggars and scrap boys back to their states.

Yes ruthlessness is necessary with these devilish scrap boys. True Sanwo Olu is all about going to parties here and there than actually getting work done.

Sanwo Olu seems to be happy to be governor, he is not working like Fashola or Ambode did. Lagos is so dirty, these bola boys from North litter everywhere and steal anything iron.
