People should not take this particular Turkish government seriously. Erdogan and Fetullah were once good brothers in Islam working for the same cause through education and healthcare. Every good Muslim perpetuate his or her faith through any means possible, including career and giving. This is normal.
His rise to power was sponsored by a sister organization. So when they fell apart, it was normal if you decide to sponsor his removal from office, of which is not compulsory for it to be bloody. I was because of bitterness of an attempt to remove him in power that they became termed 'terrorists' and a 'terrorist organization'.
As a Christian, I have worked in one of the Turkish schools founded by the movement in Nigeria. I can categorically say, it is one of the most fantastic schools I have ever worked so far in terms of standard, welfare and scholarship.
