You see Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Ijaw, Fulani, Efik, Kanuri or Tiv turn or maybe SW, SW, SS, NW, NE, NC turn while others see North and South turn only. Politics has never been 1+1=2 and there will always be elements of selfishness unless you are being naive or dishonest, join party and fight your own battle. Heffalump: |

Freshtruth:So you win elections in Nigeria just by some Kastina chants? |
| Re: Obi Should Just Forget About The ADC Ticket With What I Saw Yesterday At Kastina by Ashirioluwa: 2:23pm On Jul 16, 2025 |
Freshtruth:If Obi doesn’t get the ADC presidential nomination then he should come out under the Labour or any other political party. ADC is not the only party in Nigeria. Atiku and the rest need Obi more than Obi needs them. They need to give their backing to Obi, not the other way round. |

Dear Readers, Please is it an accident that since the ADC commenced its coalition no major politician has decamped to again ? In the last three (3) months, the volume of de-camping was weekly but has since tampered down since ADC commenced. With the look of things PBAT may get only SW and Southern Kaduna votes and in 2027 . PBAT allowed Ganduje and Akpabio lure him into early politicking and fake endorsements when Governance and poverty reduction should have been the frontal issue. |

sekeyso:Atiku is a selfish and very greedy politician. I'm sure he knows his state of health can't cope with the that kind of position, but he will still not want to give way to a younger and more vibrant person. |

Even Atiku can't win next election going by the rotational policy which northerners will not want to go against. 8years is their agenda, so they'll not allow anything to change that agreement even their candidate. Obi is still the best option for the party if not, Atiku will still fail as usual. Its left for them to decide if they want to continue their consistent failure with Atiku. |

| Re: Obi Should Just Forget About The ADC Ticket With What I Saw Yesterday At Kastina by waice6571: 2:32pm On Jul 16, 2025 |
Freshtruth:Only view people will understand your points. Obi does not have a political platform of his own, he only depends and rely on his popularity to snatch presidential primary ticket from any political party that is available not minding the interest of the people who built the platform from the scratch and the ambition of the actors on the platform. No definite alignment with power that be in the political space in the country. Nobody to do INEC dirty work and realtime accurate and classified internal information for him. Popularity is good but not enough in a ever dynamic political terrain as we have in Nigeria |

Remember atiku couldn’t defeat buhari with a wide margin even with overwhelming support from the south . How will atiku going to defeat tinubu this time around? The power of governors and president at play here. With money politics. Tinubu has never lost election before. They will share money on Election Day mostly in the north and those uneducated voters will sell their votes. Nigeria democracy is not ready yet. As long as we still have this old politician. |

gidgiddy:It's not about running. It's about having a winning chance. Listen to advice when they give you. Obi should deputize Atiku. And use the opportunity to build a nationalist reputation to cancel the ethnoreligious bigotry reputation he currently has. |

Freshtruth:shut up stop talking rubbish...if Obi used Labour party to divide Vote Atiku won't still be president so rest. Both of them are equal in terms of 2027 election |

As bitter as it may sound, this person just said the honest truth. 1. Atiku can never and will never step down for Obi. 2. The North will never give there 100% vote for Obi. Obi should run as running mate to Atiku. This was same gree for power that made them all lost to Tinubu in 2023. A word is enough for the wise |

Freshtruth:Perfectly said. 100% Obidients are the main enemy of Obi in this matter. They will goad him to run alone and that will just mean another four years for BAT. That will also show that he is not patriotic. |

I don’t have problem if Obi decide to become VP to Atiku as far there’s agreement for him take over after his tenure, my fellow Igbo need to be wise in Nigeria politics, we can’t continue like this, nothing wrong to start with VP |
