Mabuggi88:Big sense no be deliver the country from APC? It is a welcome development. But if Tinubu work harder and do the needful because he has all cards at his disposal? Fine way to make Nigeria work again as it is now, na 12% ba3 Tinubu get. |

Have you made a reasonable point, big NO. Atiku is a candidate for 2031. The power remains in the South for now. Go home and take a chilled cold water while you ponder about it. |

Freshtruth:I have long said it Peter Obi should forget about the ADC coalition instead he could’ve be in Labour Party and still be a flag bearer and people will definitely support him as before but seeking alliance with those political leaders who the entire Nigeria want to change from corridors of power then he is equally rated among them and I am not surprised if he won’t change anything if he eventually becomes president It’s earlier the better we start talking about referendum instead of all these circled politicians who will never effect any positive change in Nigeria, Northerners will still vote Atiku over Peter Obi come rain come sun |

Mabuggi88:A big question is this. Can atiku win without the SE and SW ? Can the NE and NW and maybe the NC sufficiently win the presidency? The math's shows otherwise . It will be impossible without someone like obi coming on board . I keep saying this . The only way Tinubu can be defeated is with Atiku -Obi. |

NNtv:Very correct analysis obi doesn't have the people to defend and protect his votes having the manpower to man all the polling booths in nigeria is no joke obidients should put their emotions aside and face reality. |

tunapawizzy:If they will listen. This is what I have been telling them but it seems our people like doing politics with emotions not our head that's why this country take us for a ride. Buhari said we're a Dot in a circle but they failed to think logically the meaning of what he said. If Obi fails to align with Atiku and go the way of few of his so called Obidents fan, we will never smell that power again in 50yrs to come. Obi himself knows what's at stake now and he knows Atiku is his last chance. |

Freshtruth:Though this goes against rotational presidency, anything that would stop Tinubu in 2027 is okay by me. The only way to achieve that is by an Atiku / Obi joint ticket. If they run independently, Tiinubu wold win fair and square. |

Mabuggi88:if "Atiku can win alone", why has he not won all these years? what did he see that "shows the North are behind Atiku"? who is the "north"? |

AMINDA:I wanted to ignore dis but I won't....d only person to beat Obi is Tinubu not Atiku.....Tinubu because he has d power n d machinery to do that....Atiku has more followers in his Adamawa or so....not even all d north....u can use d last election to compare |

gidgiddy:Just tell me about from South East where can he win in 2027 election. You think this is 2023 election that he took his opponent by surprise but this time they will tie the loose ends. |

Tome4real:What crowd are you talking about? Obi won't get half of that crowd if he runs alone. Hmm, you think Nigerian politics is bread and butter to remove someone like TINUBU? You think Tinubu na Goodluck Jonathan?? Dey play, Obi wey no dey give shi-shi wants to run with a sitting president with the beckon of national asset at hand. He needs someone to match him power for power, rigging for rigging, ruggedness for ruggedness, money for money, which Atiku has in abundance. Obi alone will fizzle out reason: Igbo factor, 2, He is way too calm for a politician. |

Peter Obi is the man to beat in 2027 general elections. I can't see anyone that can defeat Peter Obi. That guy cannot be defeated by anyone in Nigeria of today

bigpicture001:Suddenly your ilk see the benefits of a quota system. Quota system, I thought the east was above it? - Nigeria does not run a rotational "anything". Parties "political parties" use the quota system to appeal to the electorate. - Our constitution has no recommendations or laws for rotational "quota" presidency. Only appointments! - PDP set aside the agreement for "quota's" when Jonathan ran for presidency for the second time against the original agreement "rotation" - And PDP has never recovered ever since! |

ogascomax:That their game plan , they don’t wish well for Obi , they are not even his supporters just a string of afon key pad warriors in connivance with nairaland hoping Obi contest and split the vote and APC retains power |
| Re: Obi Should Just Forget About The ADC Ticket With What I Saw Yesterday At Kastina by ogascomax: 3:39pm On Jul 16, 2025 |
Forkthiefnubu:It will shock them this time. Obi will do gra gra first then end up as deputy. He could lose even close to 50 of is voters but it does not matter. ADC only need 25 percent from the South. The North will overwhelming vote for Atiku. |

[quote author=Mabuggi88 post=136120106]Bros he said the truth. Obi can not win alone in 2027, it will be very very difficult. Like he said his best bet is to deputize Atiku and they will win flawlessly barring any rigging from the rigging master himself. For those quoting me, Yes, Atiku can win alone. In fact that was the essence of the OP creating this thread, according to him what he saw shows the North are behind Atiku. Do u tink atiku can win alone? Akltiku has support in North, obi has in the south, they either find an arrangement such as obi does 1 term, then atiku goes,, otherwise both of them would achieve noting |

seborrhic:Yes we know that "but" To consolidate the Northern votes from being rigged, he need to support Atiku and become VP. Atiku can match Tinubu head to head in everything. Including; Mind to spend money, Thuggery, Rigging, Supporters willing to defend their votes, Organic/Grassroot support, Atiku can say anything and would go scot-free unlike Peter Obi (reason: Igbo factor). North Rules the political fabric of this country, Get that into your head. Population wise, everything... and if they stand to defend their votes, no police or army can stop them unlike Obi. No people will have 4yrs to get back to power will want to vote another southern to do a straight 8yrs in office, the opportunity they have now to get back to power is by supporting a fellow brother who is running in 2027. Which they currently told you guys. Politics is not by emotions but by being strategic! Your goodwill and manifesto will come into play when you get into office and people see your performance (clue: Take Enugu governor for example) nobody is saying about LP in that state. He is very sure of 2027. |

NNtv:Honesty speaking we igbos should concentrate on our close leaders like our governors, to develop our states first. Let them make use of the allocation to embark on good projects for the betterment of igbo people. As for our tribalists, let them keep on hating. |
