Bros he said the truth. Obi can not win alone in 2027, it will be very very difficult. Like he said his best bet is to deputize Atiku and they will win flawlessly barring any rigging from the rigging master himself.

For those quoting me, Yes, Atiku can win alone. In fact that was the essence of the OP creating this thread, according to him what he saw shows the North are behind Atiku.
I agree with you. The only way the incumbent can be removed is with obi having an arrangement atiku, anything else will see the vote being split in favour of the incumbent just as it happened during the last elections.

My own is that we, igbos need to be smart this coming 2027 general election. If OBI won't align properly with ADC or APC which is the main political front then we shouldn't vote his LP which is going to eventually lose.

Igbo people have suffered too much on political marginalization. Playing a different tune will only create more enmity and wins us nothing at last.

Obi should align with atiku, even if he loses ADC primary, he should remain there because if he go ahead to follow Aisha Yesufu's advice and run against atiku and lose, then apparently, atiku later wins the general election. The igbo nation will experience another eight years of marginalization coupled with the one we are in already.
The bolded comment gives you away as an impostor. Igbos stand to gain nothing extra if Obi wins presidency and nothing extra to loose if he fails. It is about the person that can be trusted to fix Nigeria for the good of all. I'd majority feels another guy can do the job better, so be it. But the regret is that the dissenting minority must also live with the consequences of our choice of the majority. Nothing more

With what I saw yesterday in kastina when Atiku attended buhari burial that man does not look like who we step down for obi Omo as I see crowd chanting sai atiku in the company of el rufai and tambuwal and ADC chieftains walking. Along side atiku how Obi wan take get that ADC ticket he wan vanish am?

Omo Obi 2027 bid is almost gone my humble conclusion is for obi to lobby for the ADC vice presidential ticket and run with atiku as simple as ABC. Make he no listen to any motivational speaker. To be number 2 man for Nigeria no be teeth. Even goodluck step down from his role as Governor as bayelsa to accept vp ticket so obi half bread is better than non.

My humble and sincere Advise sir
2027 is a complicated political game and very hard to predict at this point.

Both Atiku and Namadi Sambo willingly resigned as Governors to accept the Vice Presidential ticket. Let’s not forget all this noise Wike is making stems from his frustration over not being chosen as a VP candidate

You mean win primary flawlessly right, because even if you add 100 Obi, they (Atiku and Obi) can't become president in Nigeria.

You act like they haven't tried it before, the only chance they had was the last election, now it's the only impossible thing they could do, they will just make themselves a laughing stock if they try.

Best bet, Obi should avoid being VP, remain in LP, in 2032 his chances would have improved.

If they will listen. This is what I have been telling them but it seems our people like doing politics with emotions not our head that's why this country take us for a ride. Buhari said we're a Dot in a circle but they failed to think logically the meaning of what he said. If Obi fails to align with Atiku and go the way of few of his so called Obidents fan, we will never smell that power again in 50yrs to come. Obi himself knows what's at stake now and he knows Atiku is his last chance.
You said the sincere truth, Nigerian politics is drived by religion and tribalism. Obi hardly win in the vote bloc of the north west, because the evil politicians will use any propaganda to make Obi appear bad in the the eyes of northern electorates. They can start saying he's supporting Biafra movement, if he becomes president he will divide Nigeria. This and that. But if he joined the coalition as VP north will know him better so, he can easily broke the record to become First igbo president.. since 1999 igbo man never be a Vp or even president. Despite they are number 3 tribe in Nigeria and spread all over the country. The chance for igbo is now or wait in next millennium.

I may not know who u are. But what u said here is the simple truth.. Obi need to vice Atiku ,that is the only shortest way for him to be president. Let forget about sentiment Obi can't win without the help of the North...
Re: Obi Should Just Forget About The ADC Ticket With What I Saw Yesterday At Kastina by Jonjam269: 5:02pm On Jul 16, 2025
Let’s be realistic—this coalition is essentially designed to advance Atiku’s presidential ambition. Obi is nothing more than a pawn on the political chessboard. No amount of talk or analysis will change that.
The serial election loser, Atiku, and the serial political party hopper, Obi, are trapped in a political cul-de-sac. Whether they contest together or individually, they will always end up as losers.
Re: Obi Should Just Forget About The ADC Ticket With What I Saw Yesterday At Kastina by Hismercy234: 5:05pm On Jul 16, 2025
We already know this, that is exactly why I am congratulating Tinubu because his second term will be confirmed the moment Atiku's getting the ticket is confirmed 👍

Tried it when, in 2019? It means you are not abreast with political dynamics of the country. How can you compare the two of Atiku and Obi of 2019 and now?
Below is a breakdown for you.
There is no Buhari on the Ballot, Obi has amassed much more follows than 2019, Nigerians tend to hate the government in power now than in 2019, Atiku seems more out this time than 2019, There is a coalition etc.

You are not far from the truth, I support Obi, but if truly the coalition is to unseat Tinubu, the best option is to allow Atiku to be the flag bearer and Obi to be the Vice, the winning would be concluded even before 11am on the election day..

As it stands now, Atiku is the leader of the north, and people are ready to massively vote and support him

Bet me, Obi will be deputy to atiku. You can join Tinubu now if u want. I know Aisha Yusuf will later bend. What we want is to save Nigeria from APC not politicking. PO can’t win Tinubu on his own and he knows this. The earlier you fellas know that the better.

AMINDA:
If you're confident that Obi can defeat Tinubu in the South and protect his votes, then he should go ahead and contest as an independent candidate. Tinubu will come third in that scenario. The North is already settled for Atiku and Northerners will defend their votes, plus they have the numbers. Unlike in 2023, Atiku will end up getting enough votes from pragmatic Southerners and Easterners who wouldn't want to sink with Obi. This will be enough to take him through the finish line. The coalition would forge ahead with or without Obi. Infact, Obi needs the coalition more than the coalition needs him. Numbers don't lie.

Aminda, your analysis is solid and well thought out. You’ve captured the practical electoral dynamics with clarity — the numbers truly don’t lie.

Obi’s political survival depends heavily on the coalition’s broader structure and national reach; standing alone would only isolate his base and split votes further.

It’s refreshing to see someone break it down without emotional bias. Well done — you’re a good analyst.
