Do Parents' Financial Status Influence One's Adulthood And Even Future? (Image) by Leep(op):
Do you believe, or think that your parents financial status whether rich or poor has any bearing on your adulthood and how you turn out in life?

To me, it has a lot to do with how your life eventually turns out. When parents are poor, they lack the contacts, they lack the necessary connections and resources to push their children towards achieving their dreams. It is even much worse when such parents die leaving their children at the Mercies of their relatives.
But for rich parents, who have connections, contacts and resources, the opposite of the above becomes the case.
Many young guys are doing well today because they came from a well-to-do background and everything was already made easy for them by their parents. The parents have already laid a solid foundation for their children and even after death, their children will never suffer.

I come from an extremely poor background. Such that no member of my mum's family/lineage has ever had a car. Only one from my dad's family has a car. I lost my parents from childhood and as an adult, I still face several life's challenges since they were poor, had no connection or contact. They left nothing to us. I only inherited my late father's oversized cloths and an old bicycle. Not even a handset, I inherited a landline telephone.
But in all these, I've come to the conclusion that it is not the family we come from that matters, but the family we make afterwards.

Yes,it does...

That's why it's very important for parents to lay good, and solid foundation for their kids......

But then again,I've seen and equally heard of cases where people strive so hard irrespective of their parents financial status and they finally become successful........

You didn't react actually to the question you asked.
Because, the question you asked is one that simply require yes or No.

YES!
How you turned out today would have been different if the huge funds and resources where there from the foundation stage. Check am na.
Family is your first and biggest influence throughout your life. It will position your mindset which determines your life setting.

It does, to a surprisingly great extent

If you come from a poor background, your mentality will be severely damaged. Even when you strive hard to set your mentality straight, and eventually make it big in life, many of your choices will still be affected by your poor background. That's why you may find yourself sometimes trying to buy low quality cheap materials in bulk, instead of buying a few of the best quality but slightly more expensive ones.

Sure, though it also involves both parents and child to make use of opportunity if it's rich.

If your parents are rich, it would definitely put u in good school/business and if you are not prodigal child it would definitely affect Ur life positively in future.

You should correct yourself first.

I believe you didn't do comprehension passage in English while you were in High sch. If you did, you wouldn't be saying this. I made a post asking to know and you're here telling me that I didn't answer same question. Am I supposed to give a definite answer?
I don't need you on this post

It applies sometimes but I think determination not to be constrained by circumstances of poor background helps mostly.
It reminds me of a close friend struggling with house rent that attended a church revival many years ago. Knowing no one in his family has ever owned a house,he said he could not mutter a word when worshippers were asked to pray for landed properties in the next 12 months.
His story changed years after. He has turned out excellently well beyond his own expectations

Considering the revival probably took place in Nigeria, 100s at that same revival likely prayed for the exact same thing, and many others also probably had no words too but never got any of their prayers or yearnings met. But this one exception to the norm— assuming this story isn't even cooked up, mind you— is why others should flock to such revivals to pray for similar things, abi? undecided

I am not religious and my friend is not a Christian. Why leave the subject of discussion that has nothing to do with church promotion and only focus on that part of the contribution that has to do with pastor declaring a prayer point in the revival. Do you have problem with church? No where did I say he prayed when their's no precedent to make him do so.

Your post was intended to have us believe that the revival and the pastor's(a church operator in the religion of Christianity) prayer point had something to do with this eventual miraculous happening— story wey we no fit confirm bayi— in your friend's life, yes? 🥱🥱🥱🥱

2. Yes, I do! They are notorious for manufacturing such ridiculous tales as the one you posted earlier to con more people into believing that if they just attended one more revival, or donated money to one more pastor, their problems would magically be taken care of by a magical power up somewhere in the sky. 🤔
