My people in the house. What do you guys think about 2005 Acura TSX?

Is buying the car in 2025 worth it?

It’s 2025 already bro - you must likely will use it all the way to 2026
I don’t think you should buy it

Good morning guys. What do you think about getting a 2017 Hyundai elantra as a first car. Is it a good idea and what should I be concerned about?

The alternative Toyota/lexus are much older models for the same price range.

Any other car you'd advise?

Which will be more reliable and easier to maintain between a 2008 avalon and 2005 es330. Also is it worth considering a 2011 honda accord, all Nigerian used

Will choose d 2011 accord. Follow by Avalon cus these two are more luxurious. Get the accord if it's 4cylinder. Get d Avalon if fueling isn't an issue

Both Avalon and the Lexus are v6’s ( both are generally reliable 2gr and 3mz) they are a bit similar, sure you can’t go wrong with any of them. If you’d want a higher ground clearance go for the es330 or 2011 Honda accord

Thank you sir. Are you saying the Avalon's ground clearance is very poor compared to the rest because i had a neighbor that always complained about the honda being too low

When compared to the other two, yes it has a lower ground clearance. From my observations though Nigerian used Avalon are not always the best looking ( more like their bodies don’t hold up well )

Good evening house, I bought a car from a car seller in kaduna I’m from Abuja. We went to kaduna and went to the car stand. I selected the car I bought it 2.7m was told it doesn’t have major problems gear is okay. After I repairs things in the car and spent more than 200k trying to make the car okay. I’ve been noticing the automatic gear has issue until it broke down to me and I had to call the seller who sent his mechanic to pick the car from where it is. I said repairing a gear is something I can’t do and that’s not our agreement. I told him I wanted a refund he agreed to refund me. Now it’s 1 month plus already no refund. What do I do to get my refund please
Re: The Official Car Comparison/Recommendation Thread by FineUsername(m): 4:04pm On Sep 05, 2025
It's unfortunate. Dem dey look for next victim to sell car to, then dem go refund you. You just have to be patient.

Good afternoon bosses.

For a first time buyer which would you recommend between a foreign used Es 330 or Nigerian used 2013 Camry, or ES 350, which other options can I consider? Budget is #8m

Consider the bolded option, if you can increase your budget.

You can never go wrong with any of the above choices, but if you are keen on maintenance cost and mobility cost ( fueling ) go for the Nigerian Used 2013 Camry ( 4 plugs ) it’ll be much easier on a first time user. You can also reach out to me if you need any of the choices above

Xterra is the only body-on-frame vehicle there, I believe. Should be the most rugged.

Does the 2015/ 2016 camry have particular advantage over the predecessors 2013/2014 camry?..
What would one be losing?
Of course, i will conserve some changes..

They’re basically still the same generation camry’s, only advantage would be it’s a much newer model year. The 2015/16 was just restyled. Powertrain is still the same, but exterior has been completely restyled, guage-cluster is different, the dashboard is also revised with subtle differences. Personally, the 014 styling is better to me. Are you also in the market for one ?

For the Sienna you have no issues be it the 3mz /2gr variants, just make sure you get a good unit and make sure give it top class maintenance as their powertrain can be expensive to procure
For the corolla also just get one that isn’t beat up or on the verge of dying, he can also look out for a 2008 Hyundai Elantra ( very good rides )

The 4 cylinder GDi engines from 2011 to 2015 were very problematic due to build quality. 2016 upwards got a bit better but anything GDi if you can avoid it, better for you
