You mean inflation in Aso rock went down. All this negligible drops won't have any effect on prices out there. Logistics cost is extremely high (, gov, tax,fuel, etc) food is high(insecurities etc), imports are expensive (import duty, dollar rate, logistics). Even the rice they were celebrating Bua and Dangote crashed the price is back to 80k and above per bag. So where's is the drop on the economy? 14 Likes |

I posted it here back in September last year that inflation will drop due to slow economic activity and APC will take credit: https://www.nairaland.com/8215654/heads-up-nigerias-inflation-drop Whenever purchasing power drops over a long period, inflation reduces temporarily. It’s a bad situation but APC will try to claim that it is as a result of audio reforms |

I mean it only dropped from 22.97% to 22.22% so the average person will unfortunately not see any impact on their day to day lives, and that’s shanking we trust the numbers anyway.
