Feudal nation. He wept because his fiefdom was taken away. Sounds like some emperor of antiquity in some medieval bedtime story land. The last time I checked who governs the councils are none of his business. And if he cannot tolerate Federal meddling in his state why is he sobbing about the truncating of his vision for a greater Osun empire. When we are ready for proper democracy wake me up and I will gladly make a beeline for the nearest INEC office to get a voter's card. |

YOU PUT US IN A POLITICAL QUAGMIRE - Prince Oyinlola told Gov Adeleke A strategic meeting was called by the governor in the Government House on Thursday 10/07/2025. In attendance were Prince Oyinlola, (a former Governor of Osun State), Dr Olu Alabi, Oluomo Tajudeen Ladipo, Sunday Bisi, (the PDP State Chairman) and some trusted State EXCO Members. Nine of the Governor’s Commissioners are rumored to be working for APC already!! The meeting was basically called because of the governor’s defection from PDP to APC. The governor gave an update on how far he had tried to reach President Tinubu to no avail. He revealed that they now want to use Gov Dapo Abiodun to reach Lateef Adegbite SAN who has the ears of the President, to use his connections to reach the President, but that, it wasn’t yet successful. It was only Prince Oyinlola, out of the meeting participants, who brazed up to ask the governor pointed questions! The Prince asked if he had secured gubernatorial automatic ticket of the APC, to which the governor said no. The Prince probed further to know the number of Senatorial, Federal House of Representatives, State House of Assembly members are already ceded to him and the party before his taunted defection. The governor responded that those are yet to be discussed. In his, and other members who attended the meeting utter disappointment, the governor was asked to brief the meeting what the fate of the PDP elected Chairmen and Councilors are. To this, the Governor responded that it is still complicated!! In candid embarrassment to those in attendance in the meeting, the governor was told without mincing words that what was the meaning of the Press Release that, it was President Tinubu who was appealing to him and the PDP to defect, as released by Olawale Rasheed, the Governor’s spokesman? The governor looked confused and bursted into tears!!!

chigoziri2403:What are the issues on ground, that are worse than the era of APC progreThieves? Is he paying half salaries and owing pensions like Aregbesola when Oyetola was the CoS? Is he not clearing the debt of unpaid pensions and salaries as well as loans that Oyetola failed to pay for four years? Even the Oga in Aso Rock is not paying down debt but taking more loans despite subsidy savings! So what are your issues on the ground please ![]() |

Yemimovich:Aside that, the greatest mistake he made was to believe Atiku will win the 2023 election. He frustrated the APC that he arrested virtually all APC big wigs, as if that wasn't enough he changed their campaign n convention venue at will n in the cause of them moving around they had a fatal accident where 18 people died. Last last he worked for Atiku n atiku won osun state, now Tinubu is president n he knows it is APC that will coordinate his 2026 election so he knows they will pay him back in his own coin that's y he's jittery. Tinubu have forgiven him but APC members in osun state are ready to eat him raw, u can see what omisore n co said. They will finish him |

chigoziri2403:Did Aregbesola and Oyetola not receive allocation when they were owing salaries and pensions despite raising IGR and taking loans for years? Is ebilokan not receiving allocation on top of subsidy savings but still borrowing more money than Buhari and even more than PDP presidents? How do you explain all these things with your issues on the ground story ![]() |

Olamicwoto:And who gets killed too.... obeying the court order which was a simple thing to do then as it still is will not resurrect the killed APC local government chairman who resumed back to office and I think that's worth weeping about shamelessly. |

LtChisom:Lol. You think there is difference between APC, PDP, LP and Co, right? How old are you? You see politicians crossing from one party to the other everyday. You think Adeleke is different? *He chased duly elected local government officials away without any compensation. *He refused to obey court judgement reinstating them and you didn't see anything bad in it. *He is among the governors that refused to let local governments open their own accounts directly with CBN. *He sacked all the teachers employed by oyetola for flimsy excuse, sold new recruitment forms, conducted interviews but refused to employ a single teacher till today. |

Popson0424:Many APC leaders are opposing his joining cos they know he will be defeated by then fairly. He had lost some formidable politician to apc and Aregbesola who supported him as joined ADC and will present a candidate. Adeleke is a terrible governor. He lack docurum. Only Tinubu will save the Adeleke's from disgrace. Davido has been quiet. I love south west politics expecially the other five states except Lagos. They boot you out when they don't want you. Money don't matter that time. We Edo copy that model too. |

Yemimovich:The interesting thing about Tinubu's style of doing politics is to move, speak and play in stealth mode! He prefers to leave it to you to trace to him yourself the source of the challenges confronting you and further allows you to choose between political and financial ruin that is sure to be your lot in the result. Sampler: Tinubu, till date, has said nothing about Dino Melaye who on the floor of the Senate sexually and emotionally harassed and traumatised his wife who was then a Senator. Dino Melaye threatened to impregnate her! He knew she was a married woman and married to no less a man than Tinubu. Tinubu said nothing but left it to Dino Melaye to discover the source of the political and financial calamities serially befalling him! He was recently revealed by Lere Olayinka as politically hopeless to the point that on the day of Kogi gubernatorial election in which he was a candidate he remained at home trending on social media instead of voting - at least, for himself. Take Adeleke for another example, Tinubu had the traps well laid out for the dancing phenomenon of an Osun State Governor who was politically and financially strangulated to the point that he was generationally ridiculed when the photo record of the obeisance of a private visit to President Tinubu was released to the Press! Deji Adeleke knew he was finished and had to have a representative of next gen Adeleke to eat of the humble pie otherwise his financial empire will receive further bashings to the point of ruination!!! Tinubu took the dance out of the feet of the dancing governor and left him weeping instead. Don't toy with Tinubu without God on your side. As for Pastor EA Adeboye and the RCCG - they have God on their side!!! |

LtChisom:So? Is that all what you had to say as a response? This is issue based debate, not really about the political parties we belong to. Ademola Adeleke would have been in APC by now if not because APC stakeholders in the state rejected him. That's what I was telling you about the political parties not determining the characteristics of politicians |
