What is the name of the Local Government Chairman that thought that, of all the challenges being faced by his local government, renaming a street should be in first 100 priorities.

These are the consequences of voting incompetence. In 2025, when not one single local government of state has a world class hospital, school, recreational center, or even clean and regular public water supply.

Some people will still come here to say we all creations of God. No way God could have created a human and make him reason in such manner.

Spiritual leaders need to investigate what’s creating this sought of Local government chairmen.

Preservation of cultural heritage is part of the mandate our local representatives are given. We are satisfied with what he has done. Go and face your leaders in Agulu and demand for their first 100 priorities. There are more modern and functional primary health care centers in Lagos than any state in the South East can ever boast of.

The chairman of that local government has more tangible achievements than Peter Obi who was governor for 8 years without building a single school. The Yoruba people of Ajeromi Ifelodun voted him to among other things restore the Yoruba heritage of the council that had over the years been destroyed by our developer friends.

No, the South West has just arrived. But the South East is gone forever. No remedy.

It hurts you guys too much that Yorubas are united in purpose. An Omoluabi from Osun can decide to pursue political aspirations in Lagos. A bonafide Oyo indigene can decide to pursue political ambitions in Ekiti. We are one.

But this concept is alien to the IPOBs. Enugu man dare not pick up nomination form in Imo. Ebonyi man dare not pick up form in Anambra. Stop killing yourselves first, before you start talking about other regions.

Nothing new here,when streets names are no longer paid for LG request interested people to apply. Change of names happens and payment continues.
Some of the names are over 60 years. The original owners are either dead and possible their families are no longer living in those areas to be paying the service fees

These guys don't learn. Same thing happened in Port Harcourt and guess what? The old names remained while the new names disappeared completely. These name changed of today is going to be difficult to stand the time cos the previous name is colonial.

In hundred years to come, the old names won't disappear whether they choose to rename the streets a million times.

Ask Rivers State govt the resultant effect about Changing Obigbo LGA to Oyibo LGA. They actually achieved nothing as the old name is still actively enforced by the people.
