This sounds like fear speaking. Why should you be bothered if he leaves your party or not?
They are not afraid of him leaving. They're simply making it clear that they won't give him the ticket.

Seems the ADC is going nowhere. Atiku on the ticket is a certain PBAT second term even without rigging

Not when aspirants share dollars with delegates during primaries, and as you know Obi does not believe in such inducement tactics. So how could you blame him? Do you sincerely think any serious and reasonable Nigerian will take ADC seriously without Obi? Parties mean nothing at the moment; personalities like Obi are what make a party great. Keep deceiving yourself. And mark my words, if you people treat Obi anyhow and he leaves, that coalition will die a natural death just like the Labour Party that is gasping for breath already.

Obi will not accept role of VP to Atiku.

Never!

That time don pass!
In politics, never say never. That may be the only way the coalition could send Tinubu home.

Atiku and Obi must be on the same ticket. That is the only surebanker right now.

It's fear alright as obsessed, but for a reason different from your own. The thing is that if Obi leaves the will go the complete Ibo block vote. This the PDP can NOT afford to miss. Without it the PDP CANNOT win the 2027 presidential election. The PDP CANNOT give the ADC ticket to OBI. Apart from be a joiner and a late starter , he's also not a sure–fooled member, neither an insider. Besides, it's clear from the above that they WILL NOT give the ticket by advising him to prepare to stay ' inside ' to mentor others from inside. The meaning of that is to be prepared to take over the mantle of the party's chairmanship after the 2027 elections. The strategy is to hold him back to hold the Ibo block vote back with him. The two largest regions in the South, Southwest and South South are firmly in the hands of the APC, whether you like it or not. Without a strong foothold in the Southeast, the ADC can't win . So , their fear is real.

Dem don already give am hin role in the coalition...

"Mr. Obi has an opportunity to lead from within—by mentoring new leaders, influencing policy direction, and building long-term political structures"...

So because we want to send Tinubu home the south should give up its second term as president of the country.

If that is the case then Tinubu should continue but the south must do it's full 8 years as president, this is non negotiable!!!
