This is the attitude that will keep us forever at the mercy of our corrupt and irresponsible leaders who keep taking Nigerians for a ride and believing they can do anything and they become saints once they die.

Very faulty mindset.

We are not called to speak evil of anyone-- living or dead, but speaking truth to power doesn't have to be until they die-- that's cowardice.

We should speak to power so they stay accountable. It is our responsibility.

Death doesn't wipe anyone's slate clean. The dead don't read tributes.

Every statement made about the dead is so the living can know that posterity will judge us when we have departed.

This ensures we live intentionally.
