That's if Nigeria's politics is a true reflection of the voice of the masses. The manipulation involved in keeping powers beyond 2027 is what Tinubu, Wike, Akpabio, INEC chairman, judiciary (in Wike's pocket) and those currently occupying power are very capable of, more than those in opposition. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Yep, buhari is gone. All his sheep are ripe for the taking...and many of them will vote for the next best northern leader...Atiku. That's why tinubu is trying to replicate Obasanjo's succesful formula for beating the north...75% in the south and middle belt, plus the 25% in the North that vote for the ruling party, and thus victory. If people’s votes are captured immediately that they have voted, I don't see the possibility of Tinubu wining. By that I mean, if the total votes is recorded and sent to a centralised place where everyone can see the outcome of each polling unit, I don't see the possibility of Tinubu winning. But if it this old pattern of voting and waiting till evening or next day for collation officers to declare result, congratulations to Tinubu in advance. People like Wike, Edo state governor and Co will see to it that the election is rigged. You think all the effort to bring governors from the opposition into APC is for jamboree? Tinubu himself knows that's why he has been hopping from one Northern state to the other. The numbers are not looking good for Tinubu right now and Kwankwaso is still dragging his feet. Can't blame him. He's a shrewd politician. He would only join the APC if he's convinced that they stand half a chance. Unfortunately, Tinubu has already treacherously done away with erstwhile allies like Ganduje and El-Rufai and even Shettima is silently aggrieved. Akpakomiza2:Who will let him into APGA? Soludo? Never. Nenadi Usman will likely get the nod. Why should Atiku step down? When APC was formed in 2014, they subjected everyone to Primaries. Trump was a former President, but instead went head-to-head in a Primary, let's come home now. Buhari was leader for CPC with millions of votes in the bag, yet went to Primaries with Atiku & Kwankwaso. Tinubu, financier and leader of the ACN with States went to Primaries with Amaechi and the sitting VP. These two (Buhari & Tinubu ) had all it took to demand for right of first refusal but didn't. Obi should go to Primary or go to another Party. This is Presidential Election, it's serious business. All over the world, you never get in there wiithout making some unprofessional steps. If you cannot navigate around Primaries, you simply cannot win the main election. Like I said last month, with or without the coalition, Peter Obi has no pathway in 2027 to be President. edogu:It is not that easy. You don't know politicians. Many APC governors may not like Tinubu. They will pretend to be working for him only to disappoint him eventually. This happened to Jonathan. Today, Tinubu cannot guarantee that any governor in the 19 states of the North is working for him. Wike is desperate and ambitious. How are you sure that he is not a mole in Tinubu's government? He desires to get VP slot by 2031 when power will be returning to the North and then prepares himself for the number one position. Obviously, it is looking like that will not happen and Wike is seeing the signs already. How come Sanwo Olu did not deliver Lagos State to APC in 2023? How did EL-RUFAI fail to deliver Kaduna to APC in 2023? How come Buhari could not deliver Katsina to APC in 2023? Ganduje too failed to deliver Kano to APC. Politics is not Mathematics. 4 Likes |
