I recently traveled to India and got invited to a traditional Indian wedding.

From the rituals to the wild dancing, the endless food, and the intense colors — it was one of the most shocking and beautiful cultural experiences I've ever had.

I recorded the whole journey, and as an African, I couldn't believe how different and yet similar some parts felt.

Have you ever seen what a real Indian wedding looks like up close?

Here’s my video – would love to hear what you guys think:

.. Don't be short sighted... It's just like viewing some part of the north then coming up with the conclusion that Nigeria is a "truly poor country"... Is it really?

Abeg go ...hide.... yourself.

Indian 2025 GDP nominal is more than 4trillion dollars which made it the fourth largest in the world while your country is not up to 600billion.

Una no get shame at all. A typical nigerian can boast. Mumbai gdp is more than half of nigerian gdp already. Make una just dey dey do pdp, apc and adc wey be una level. Leave international politics for those know it.

When countries in committee of nations come out,una ago join.

Your village in Imo state,right?

I don't understand where this unnecessary urge to compare and boast comes from.

It doesn't really have to be about you. The world is bigger than that
