There are halls,streets, monuments named after prominent non-Igbo national citizens in the SE. Ethnic profiling because of unbridled hatred has been the number one trait. So sad! Too bad!

too much cry by our migrant blodas from across the Niger over renaming of street….we owe no one any explanation on how we chose to administer our land.

Lagos like every other state have the constitutional right to decide how the affairs of the state should be run. This ingrate have long saw it coming. Some of them once won political offices in Lagos and also appointments till they got so comfortable and forgot Lagos is yorubaland grin

The Lagos is ‘ no man’s land” nonsense was a big slap and disrespect to us the aborigines and to our ancestors. Every state and region have its own culture and traditions and Lagos being a cosmopolitan state does not change that fact that it is yorubaland and so shall it be.

Anyone who chose to live in Lagos must respect the culture and traditions of their host. Never again will our liberal and accommodating nature be taken for granted….Eko lon pe’ ibe and we will defend our land against all imposters and this is just the beginning….btw proudly Lagos grin

You see how Yoruba youths are celebrating this like it's an achievement.

Lagos is a no man's land is a mantra invented by Lagos former Governor Jakande, a Yoruba man, but Lagos APC twisted it to turn it to a thing of war they used to campaign against opposition party they believed was pro-Igbo.

You see how they are institutionalizing ethnic profiling and their youths are celebrating it publicly with joy, they forgot that internet never forgets, to them, Southwest and the Yorubas have got their entire destiny and future figured out forever till Christ returns, so nobody can do them anything, they will forever win, they refuse to learn from global history, time will tell

There's no Yoruba Street name in Orlu, Agulu, Nnewi, Upper iweka road, etc.

The only Yoruba names you may probably see is that of Obasanjo as former president!

I told him if you were at Upper iweka road, will you be expecting them to speak English when they speak Igbo? Na so everyone in bus butt in yab till he couldn't say anything again!

An appeal to our South East Governors stop looting, wake up and develop our lands. There's nothing special about Lagos other than Tinubu and past administration developing it.The road network in Aba is better compared to that of Lagos but the challenge is that the roads are not built.
Until Alex otti and other south east governors sit up, stop stealing and develop our States, Tribalistic citizens of Nigeria who are united in their hatred of Ndị Igbo will continue to talk down on us.
Charity begins at home, not in Lagos.

The west is a friend to the east but Igbo out of arrogance, want the friendship to strain.
The hate and arrogance is massive. Both from old and young.
The igbos don't hide it again. But they will regret it.
Igbos are not calculative and also arrogant. It takes calculation to stay in this world.
Kenneth Okonkwo went to Channels TV and arrogantly said his block will work with any popular northerner to take power from the south in 2027.
Igbo thought Tinubu giving David Ummahi and Wike the popularity they're enjoying is a mistake.
Igbo need to learn how to win Nigerian trust politically to attain the powerful number one seat.
The north do not see Igbo as a friend even me but the west are ready to take igbos in and soonest in the future rotate the presidency with them when it's the turn of the South to rule but igbos can't see beyond their ego, pride and rudeness.

Sadly, this doesn't stop the sufferings of the masses as seen today.

It's called misplaced priority. Tell them to give scholarship to those living in that area and they'd run away. Street name change doesn't stop who's making it from progressing while the residents keep wallowing in poverty. They're only setting bad precedents for themselves and children unborn.

We need each other to succeed in Nigeria. Tribalism doesn't pay. In an area where I once lived in Ibadan, an ibo man tarred the road, almost 4km from the beginning of anfani ,off challenge/ring road, down to college crescent and erected a transformer, which is still there till today. Those familiar with that area would remember. Those streets with new names will have to suffer neglect, because those named after those Streets must have contributed immenseley in one way or the other to develop not only the Streets, but the entire areas.

Most of them tarred the roads on those streets with their money, which the government of the day failed to do. Even if the entire asphalt is washed away, no single development will be done in those areas again. This isn't the best way to vent your anger. You do things logically.

Lagos was formerly capital of Nigeria, I hope u ain't expecting everyone in Abuja to speak Hausa
So as a former capital city it will attract different tribes, you made no sense with this
