When I hear Bola Tinubu's supporters brag that nobody can defeat Tinubu in 2027, I just smile. It becomes even worse when they brag that Bola Tinubu made himself President, like how? Are these people suffering from memory loss or self-deceit or what exactly? These are the thoughts that run through my minds whenever I come across their rants online and offline.


Now, let's unravel how Bola Tinubu became Nigeria's President in 2023.


Tinubu's supporters claimed Tinubu is a political master that single handedly made himself President, but this same people forgot how many times Bola Tinubu struggled to even get different party's Presidential ticket plus how many times he got turned down by Buhari to be his running mate because of their Muslim Muslim faith. Though many people close to Buhari said he never liked Tinubu to the extent of running for Presidency on one ticket with him, reason the Southwest side of APC coalition team were given the slot to nominate a running mate for Buhari and Tinubu then ended up nominating Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.


Now after all the decades of struggling to get an ordinary running mate slot, Tinubu opened Lagos state treasury and used it to sponsor Buhari as a desperate tactics to use Buhari as a ladder to Presidency after Buhari completed his second tenure, yet his ill-informed supporters still believe Tinubu made himself President, like how?

Enters Mallam Nasir El Rufai the then vocal Kaduna State Governor who out of his personal ambition to become a running mate to any Southern candidate APC picked, swung into action when former Senate President Ahmed Lawan and his APC caucus including current Governor of Imo state, Attorney General of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, Adams Oshiomhole, Orji Uzo Kalu and many others hijacked the APC Primaries and had nominated Ahmed Lawan as APC's consensus candidate, El Rufai came to Tinubu's rescue by disagreeing with them and insisting that the Presidential ticket must be zoned to Southern Nigeria for equity and fairness. El Rufai quickly rallied all the APC Northern Governors to back his call for the ticket to be zoned to Southern Nigeria and that was how Tinubu had his greatest chance to emerge President.


At this point, Tinubu knew that he needed El Rufai in his camp at all cost, so he began a cunning romance with unsuspecting El Rufai who accepted to work with him. Next Tinubu opened the Lagos financial vault once again to buy not just the APC Presidential Primaries party delegates, but the Presidential Primary candidates who stepped down for him and adding their delegates votes to Tinubu's and at the end Tinubu won APC's ticket.



From this summarized run down, one could clearly see the people that made Tinubu President, namely;

We have three major tribes, namely;


Hausa-Fulani
Yoruba
Igbo


Hausa-Fulanis control the Northwest and Northeast election result.


Yorubas control the Southwest election result


Igbos control the outcome of Southeast and SouthSouth result.


Northcentral is always a swing.



Goodluck Jonathan was defeated in 2015 because Northeast, Northwest, part of North-central and Southwest backed Buhari, while only Southeast and SouthSouth backed Goodluck.


And mind you, whenever Northwest and Northeast have a preferred Presidential candidate, you cannot rig the election result, Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan were unable to rig Northwest and Northeast against Buhari for many years Buhari always won those regions because it's not always easy to rig those regions.


So if Northwest, Northeast and Southeast back a Presidential candidate, no rigging can overturn the result of such election. Once Hausa-Fulanis unit with any of the major tribes in Southern Nigeria; Yoruba or Igbo, that person must win whether the candidate is running against an incumbent President or not.

I did mentioned in my initial post that El Rufai out of his own political interest to deputize any southern candidate (especially Amaechi) rallied Northern Governors to support the zoning of APC's Presidential ticket to South, which paved way for Tinubu to even contest for the Primaries and when Tinubu realized how powerful El Rufai was to be able to dissuade Northern Governors from backing the consensus candidate, Ahmed Lawan, Tinubu cunningly recruited El Rufai, only to use him and dump him later like he always do.

If you check the results of 2023 Presidential election, despite the electoral malpractices, one can still see the people and region that helped Tinubu to become President of Nigeria.


On election day, Buhari committed an electoral crime that no other President in any country has ever committed; what could that be?


Buhari after voting on election day in Daura Katsina state, opened his ballot paper to show to the hundreds of media cameras that accompanied him to the polling unit that he has voted for Bola Tinubu.


That singular act alone swayed so many Northern voters who so much cherished and believed in Buhari to vote for Bola Tinubu. That singular act won Tinubu over 2 million votes. Yet Tinubu supporters believe Tinubu made himself President.


Buhari gave INEC free will, INEC requested for billions of naira promising to conduct a groundbreaking free and fair election in the history of Nigeria by making sure every polling unit election result is uploaded on a central server to ensure transparency and to curb election result manipulation after voting at polling units.


INEC decided to switch off the central server for upload of only Presidential election results while those of house of Assembly and Senate being held same day and time with Presidential went through, claiming there was hitches on the so called server.

Buhari being the President kept quiet as this absurd, fraudulent decision of INEC favoured Bola Tinubu the APC candidate.


Later Tinubu got announced as the winner by INEC, Buhari looked away because he wanted Tinubu to emerge President. If Buhari didn't want it, he had the power to cancel the election and call for a new election but he allowed the fraud to fly yet Tinubu's supporters still believe Tinubu made himself President, hahahahaha.

Of course Tinubu got some millions of legitimate votes, nobody has ever disputed that fact please.


But Peter Obi polled the highest number of votes cast in 2023 Presidential election, Buhari's APC bloc are already singing to us, Tinubu made mistake allowing Buhari's men to desert him, he wasn't really as bright as you guys make him appear, because if he was truly politically bright, he ought to have retained people like El Rufai, Malami, et al at all cost, now they are revealing a lot of what transpired in 2023 to us already.

Keep deceiving yourself , all the stories el rufai and his faction have been cooking have been debunked by other people within the same circle.

For those who said nobody can defeat an incumbent President in Nigeria, let me educate you guys.


Nigeria's election is very simple.


We have three major tribes, namely;


Hausa-Fulani
Yoruba
Igbo


Hausa-Fulanis control the Northwest and Northeast election result.


Yorubas control the Southwest election result


Igbos control the outcome of Southeast and SouthSouth result.


Northcentral is always a swing.



Goodluck Jonathan was defeated in 2015 because Northeast, Northwest, part of North-central and Southwest backed Buhari, while only Southeast and SouthSouth backed Goodluck.


And mind you, whenever Northwest and Northeast have a preferred Presidential candidate, you cannot rig the election result, Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan were unable to rig Northwest and Northeast against Buhari for many years Buhari always won those regions because it's not always easy to rig those regions.


So if Northwest, Northeast and Southeast back a Presidential candidate, no rigging can overturn the result of such election. Once Hausa-Fulanis unit with any of the major tribes in Southern Nigeria; Yoruba or Igbo, that person must win whether the candidate is running against an incumbent President or not.

Atiku has already been adopted as next Northern political Messiah after Buhari.


Atiku-Obi will defeat Tinubu hands down.

Obi-El Rufai can still work but 2027 Presidential election is not just about winning at the polling units, it's beyond that, after people have voted for you to win, can you defend and protect their votes against an incumbent President's rigging mercenaries until the results are announced? That is where I have issue with Obi being the flag bearer of the coalition ticket.


Peter Obi that I know is a man of peace and obeys rule of law to the core, his Obidient Movement supporters are enlightened youths who just want positive change in Nigeria's leadership and most of us are fully engaged/employed, we don't have time for physical street fight and thug war, Igbos another Peter Obi's support base are too refined, enlightened and republican in nature to engage in street fight or confrontation to protect Peter Obi's electoral victory at the polling units, that was the same reason Obi got rigged out in 2023; nobody to fight and defend his victory, so the incumbent government via INEC then helped Tinubu to carry the day, and Supreme Court upheld the electoral robbery.


If Peter Obi fly the coalition ticket, the same thing will happen because Northerners that have the street OT to defend their preferred candidate's votes won't put body since Peter Obi isn't from the North, the will be neutral expecting Igbos to lead the revolt should Tinubu attempt to rig the results.


But if Atiku flies the coalition ticket with Obi as running mate in 2027, it is game over for Bola Tinubu and APC and everybody including Tinubu knows this and that is why they will work so hard to ensure it doesn't happen by using different media publications, propaganda and newspaper headlines to sway and confuse Peter Obi not to deputize Atiku, so Peter Obi and Obidient Movement must not allow Tinubu and his political mercenaries to succeed.

Dear Peter Obi, I am one of your strongest supporters, but please swallow your pride, work with Atiku and let's unseat Tinubu first. I trust Atiku more than any other Nigerian politician after Peter Obi, Atiku won't be as horrible as the incumbent President now.


As soon as Atiku and Obi are able to agree to work together in one ticket, Bola Tinubu is gone for real and no rigging can save him.
