Not every private individual will inform the Governor.

Obi, by virtue of his political position, will definitely be going with Officers and heavy security to another State for an event. If the Governor is not aware, the Police should.

The Governor has a right to say he is a security risk and cannot enter the state and he will have to go to Court to prove otherwise. That's the nature of our laws, my brother. Even if he feels like not doing so to the Governor, the Police should be aware. The Obi I know knows the right thing, he must have tried reaching and perhaps he didn't, other States he has been visiting, the Governors were pre-informed even if not officially. Mbah, Mutfwang, Bala Mohammed, Makinde, etc... it's not like he is going into his house to sleep there. Obi will react and you will see he perhaps made some attempts.
