The Great people of Edo state have not said Oeter should not visit. The Governor is only making early alarm based on intelligence that, he cannot guarantee his security.

Why is it wrong ?
Is there any law mandating him to inform governors before visiting their states ? Especially for a non-official visit ?

He is not paying Edo government house a visit oo. Is he also mandated to inform all other governors of the 36 states if he is visiting their state ?

It seems some set of people always want chaos in Nigeria just because people from their region lost an in an election they are not qualified to pertook in the first place. If I’m a sitting governor, people like obi that incites his online nuisances against the country will not be allowed anywhere in my state .

If the state governor cannot guarantee your security, then it’s left for you to abide or not. The state government already made a bold and clear statement.

Is he God, let him guarantee Edo people's security first

Although the tone of the Governor was rather brash and unfriendly, being a high profile personality, PO ought to have informed the State Governor about his visit to the State to provide him with adequate security.


The State Governor being the CSO of the State, may be held liable should any harm come to the person of PO.


However, he (Okpebholo) lacks diplomatic finesse and tact.
