Ibadan are not primitive people as you believe, they know it’s important to have a true son of the soil to be their governor and not someone with divided loyalties. There are still real Yoruba in Ibadan and they will find them if they haven’t given up on their land and war hasn’t finally taken them away.

Makinde’s wife and mother are, and that was why all the Oyo contracts went to no Yoruba. It’s one over on Yoruba but that won’t last forever especially when it comes to ibos.
