Agreed. But remember that democracy does not thrive in the atmosphere of bribery. If the last American Presidential primaries involved bribing delegates, Trump might not be the President today, even with the backing of Elon Musk. Primaries must be based on clear conscience and not by either coercion or bribery. That way we are able to get the best candidates as our leaders and not crooks who bribe their way to success, only to loot and destroy.
