Vamoooos!!! Nice one moderator, your work no easy.. Now that we know the criteria for promotion/relegation, what's the final decision for numbers of teams to be relegated/promoted from next season, 2 teams or 4 teams? I appreciate your good works admin, kudos 💯 |

Hmmmmnnnn I see many paper tigers happy with additional chips, The real Tigers don't need chips to win 💪🏾 Last season we didn't qualify for knockouts, very unusual of Brutallion. So Brutallion ain't gonna play around with any paper tiger this season, You FAFO. So bring your a game when you see my team. 😨😱 It's gonna be a Brutal Season. 🐯 |

iamoyindamola:I saw my team, FC McKane, was asterisked because I'm not a 'regular' on the thread. Firstly, I've been a regular on Nairaland FPL since 2014/2015 and never missed a season since then. I've won the Carling Cup, being a finalist during the FA Cup Deux year and made the playoffs most times I've played in the FA Cup. Now, as for the activity part, one thing we have to consider is how relatable we are to each other. A lot of the old heads here already bonded from the old days of banters in the sports section. I was a regular in the Sports section when the likes of Coogar and all were there, but I rarely posted. So, I'm not close with guys there. So, how do I banter with someone I have no previous rapport with? You won't get a reply! Look at the number of pages the thread had last season. It was about 37. We've had seasons with close to 100 pages or more before, but those seasons had something different. Even the most inactive of members participated because everyone gets called out. There was a time when we had a group of guys write, I think weekly or monthly, banter stuff that involved everyone. It's impossible not to respond or participate when your moniker gets quoted. So, if we want more participation, let's look for something to get everyone involved. There is hardly a week that goes by without me visiting this thread to check on things. But I can't just type or quote someone when I know very well the person doesn't have a previous rapport with me. I tried that once last season, quoting two guys or so. There was no response, and it was understandable. Out of over 100 guys that participate in the game yearly on Nairaland, how many people do you see commenting here? They are just like me. They come to check the thread but find no one to relate to and then leave. That doesn't mean they do not care. |

McIrx:Your point is valid...but then, people can not know you out of nowhere. You have to start somewhere. I.e you have post more and talk about your team and your opponents more...that way people will knownthe team you coach, and the response will gradually flow in. The more you post, the more you are acknowledged. Nobody was known for being a guest alone. This is not a matter of me being ousted. But if we will have regular posters making this place fun, there is no way it will be logical to leave them out and give a slot to a mere guest whom no one here knows or relates with. That person should joing the general league which needs no bants |

McIrx:Bro I understand your point and agree with it But if this is what everyone is doing then with time, there won't be fa cup or h2h code again. In my former place of work we share h2h code at the start of the season, on Monday we face each other and bant, some even stake ahead of their fixture It's just for the fun of it, even if you don't want to bant you can be dropping weekly review on your team performance. I actually joined FPL because of maziomueko I always look forward to his weekly review while banting the weak teams. You might not know this but this is just another way of checking on each other, last season no one knew grif.fon had an accident until someone trolled him for dropping from first position he stayed for a long time I hope you get my point now? |

McIrx:See epistle... Lol Bros, na one day people dey start to bond. No two persons bond from birth... If you are active you are active. There is no two ways about it. You said you tried it once last season and no one replied you... Once. As in, once! So you mean out of 38GWs and all the days before and after a GW, na once you try banter and no one reply you? Haba! I learnt FPL in this Nairaland. Infact in this thread some years ago. Ibime Griffon Raumdeuter and others taught me and guided me as that season progressed, till I understood the game very well. Forget say I dey banter them, but that's the fun of the game. Honestly, I've not seen your moniker comment here before (I didn't say you haven't, but I have not noticed your moniker before). But I know of FC McKane in FPL. And if I check well, I don flog you before, but because I don't know you well here, I couldn't rub it in your face here ![]() Please be more active here next season so that you go dey collect the banter hot hot. |

timbros:There is no running away from this truth here: I've not been active. I think I've posted only 20 times in the last 5 years on Nairaland, half of that is when I come for FPL codes. Funnily enough, a day doesn't go by without me checking the forum just to catch up - on guest mode. I admit I'm at fault and will do better this season. Thanks, everyone, for reading my epistle ![]() |
