Hi All,

Today I participated in an online webinar organized by a certain highlance digital services where they talked about opportunities for freelance work with earnings in dollars. They sounded real but then they said we should each pay 50k for a package that will expose use to skills required to earn money online and how to go about it.

Please, has anybody heard about Highlance digital services? Is this a scam?

Same stuffs. The freelance market is saturated right now due to high unemployment. If you can spend time to learn, check online and start from scratch.

Most times those guys do info marketing that's paint the package to be so real and true for you to pay then leave you to the sad reality later. I'm not saying all are like that but most are.

I've learnt in a bitter way to be careful when things are painted or sugar coated at the beginning.

You are quite correct I think. For a beginner with zero history and zero reviews, getting freelance will be a herculian task, especially for skills that are not in high demand (like data entry, writing, etc)
