Precious452:Like I said, most of you are still kids back then or just recently following politics in 2019/2023. You most likely was never born when Tinubu was Governor of Lagos state. Go and read up the articles on the screenshots and update your knowledge. People dey follow Tinubu because he sabi road, no be by false statistics or lying or packaging a crook as saint. Obi invested Anambra funds in brewery where he is a shareholder which means Obi is personally getting a share of the funds accruing to the company and that's a type of a fraudulent man he is. Tinubu attracted ECONET to Nigeria, invested Lagos funds into it (without being a shareholder in the company to reap off the state like Obi is doing) and then made a tremendous profits for the state. It helped him reinvest it and also fulfil his obligations to the civil servants at a time the local government funds was withheld by OBJ Govt. I'm very sure say na Twitter and social media hype dey carry una dey follow the Agulu fraud, not based off on your personal research about him.

Putindbutt:I know you're an APC paid e-rodent who has been armed with fake information from your various agbado propaganda WhatsApp groups but I will still school you with facts and disprove your earlier claim concerning Econet. Tinubu did not attract Econet to Nigeria. He never invested in Econet as a governor on behalf of the the state. In fact the only Nigerian state as at 2001 that invested in Econet before it's closure was Akwa Ibom state. Check the link below and bury your ugly, tribalistic, propaganda and wicked head in shame. https://factcheckhub.com/who-brought-econet-to-nigeria-11/ |

What I have observed about alot of Nigerian youth is that, they are worse than these old men slaving the country away. Some of us youth are condemned people, who have no sense of uprightness but only care about what they have to gain alone. What they keep pretending not to know is thy, this system is a vicious cycle. It will gradually consume everybody with time, including some of you that think you are connected or protected. You will be full of regrets when you are finally caught up and the only way left is down! |

Putindbutt:Very funny how adolescents will be trying to talk and claim to be adults ... Do you know who the Obideints are ![]() Do you know the caliber of people involved in Obideints family?? Do you think it is Mc Oruma and one Odo Governor Agbero kind of people ![]() When we ask you guys about how Tinubu took away Power from Jonathan in 2015 , a man who is his fellow Southerner and made sure that the unity of the South is divided out of desperation to be President, what was your Answer ![]() You said that Tinubu and Goodluck are now in good times , that SE and SS don't know how to play Politics.... Today, the South is suffering the same ill fate, now North can easily come in the tenures of the South to contest for Presidency after taking their full 8 years tenure ... The same you all, ran out to say that South must complete her 8 years... After selling the birthright of the South for a selfish and greedy gains of becoming President.... Shame on you lots, Karma has not stated hitting your lord and personal saviour.... |

Racheal45:Good question. "Mallam" simply means Teacher. Elrufai graduated from ABU Zaria with a first-class degree in Quantity Surveying and became the first chartered Quantity Surveyor in the country few years after. Picture Of Mallam Nasir Elrufai when he was a Lecturer in ABU Zaria teaching Quantity Surveying in 1988 and he lectured for free (pro-bono). Below, another photograph of El-Rufai receiving an award from the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, during the Speech and Prize Giving Day at Barewa College. Mallam Elrufai is a brainbox and has never failed to excel in any task. I recommend you read his book, "The Accidental Public Servant". You will fall in love with the highly misunderstood enigma that is Elrufai.

| Re: Nasir El-Rufai's Post About Obi (Throwback) by ElevationD: 7:27am On Jul 20, 2025 |
SmartPolician:Yes, but the fact remains that it was a very reckless statement in the name of politics, on the part of El Rufai. Now he needs that same Peter Obi to give complete credence to ADC and secure victory for them in 2027. The truth remains that between Obi and Atiku, as it stands today, Obi is the man who can defeat Tinubu in 2027 with the right structure. |
| Re: Nasir El-Rufai's Post About Obi (Throwback) by ElevationD: 7:30am On Jul 20, 2025 |
ThunderfireNLMO:Sorry but you have miscalculated. None of them is working for Tinubu, including Atiku. The only man who will inadvertently make Tinubu retain power in 2027 is Atiku himself. If he gets the Presidential ticket in ADC, then we can safely say goodbye to them until another northerner emerges in 2031. Atiku cannot defeat Tinubu alone and Obi will contest in 2027. Simply all should tell Atiku to put an end to his ambition. |
| Re: Nasir El-Rufai's Post About Obi (Throwback) by ThunderfireNLMO: 7:46am On Jul 20, 2025 |
ElevationD:I support Obi ooo sincerely speaking but Obi is not a strong contender when it comes to facing Tinubu squarely, Tinubu will use all the machinery at his disposal to fight dirty to the end. Tinubu is an evil genius and Obi is not someone that can wrestle power from Tinubu at the moment looking at the current Nigeria terrain. To me, it's only Atiku that can challenge Tinubu and Tinubu knows this. To destroy Tinubu and APC hegemony in Nigeria, the combo of Obi deputising Atiku is a threat to APC. You know the northerners will always be loyal to their own person. Now, there is a rumour that it's likely that Shettima will be dropped and Kwankwaso may deputise Tinubu. Are you seeing what I'm seeing? This is politics, a game of numbers not emotions. We need to be logical and count the cost. What do you think? |
| Re: Nasir El-Rufai's Post About Obi (Throwback) by ElevationD: 7:49am On Jul 20, 2025 |
Putindbutt:Just imagine how you completely confused yourself. How does this comment make sense to you? Tinubu attracted Econet to Nigeria and yet Econet is nowhere to be found. Where is that sane Econet today? Can you tell us how the same Econet packed up? If the business was profitable, why did Econet pack up or why bring the then Vmobile? Making claims without substantiation can send you to jail. Can you show evidence of Obi’s ownership of shares in the brewery? Agreed but not conceded that he owns shares, he left power 11 years ago and yet the brewery makes billions annually for the state and citizens. Today, it was evident from the state government just three days ago published that the brewery is the largest government owned tax paying business in the state. Or you did not read that? When you say people were not born while Tinubu was the Governor of Lagos state, can you tell us your age then and where you reside in Lagos. We can tell you exactly what happened in that area then. Certainly you were not more than 5 years old in 1999, that is if you were born before that year. Tinubu received tax from Econet and today, we hear stories of how his tax collection in Lagos made him the man that he is today in the same Lagos. Get small shame na. Take you little time to read the below link for better understanding: https://technext24.com/2022/06/02/did-bola-tinubu-bring-econet-nigeria-2001/ |
| Re: Nasir El-Rufai's Post About Obi (Throwback) by ElevationD: 8:01am On Jul 20, 2025 |
ThunderfireNLMO:See, politics is arithmetics, calculations and insight. Do not base your thoughts on sentiments or what you simply see, or rumours. When people said before 2023 that Obi did not have structures, he said the people were his structure. He showed what it meant at the polling booths with over 6 million votes. When Tinubu famously said “Obi is is boy”, he realized his folly with his comprehensive defeat in Lagos state and Buhari’s defeat in Abuja by Obi. You make the mistake of looking at the capacity of Atiku to secure the ticket and compare it with the feeling of the citizens on the streets. At least Obi’s birthday yesterday showed the whole world what’s happening in the minds of the people. While Reno Omokri focused on Obi not been present at Buhari’s burial, he overlooked Kwakwanso and the rest who were not present. Obi is the national topic and not Atiku. For a resounding victory, permutations are made. Securing Governors and NASS members into APC is irrelevant. The issue is the citizens who are tired of hunger in their homes. Whoever deputizes is not the issue. The issue is credibility and the belief of the people. Tinubu may have state resources, but he can be defeated easily. If he defeated the incumbent GEJ, what makes him immune to defeat in 2027? By the way, what makes you think that APC has not been making offers to him to keep him quiet? |

ElevationD:If you leave Tinubu and Obi on the ticket and Atiku is not contesting, you think Obi will see Tinubu tail light? Think again! You people overestimate this fraudulent man too much. The only combination that can roughen the terrain (it's not a silver bullet to victory, though) is Atiku/Obi. If the contest is left for Tinubu and Obi alone, election will be over before 1pm. Obi doesn't have the appeal that you guys think he has, and worse still, the unwritten rotational rule is largely against him, even if he swears on his parents grave that he's going to spend two years. |

[quote author=Putindbutt post=136154521]My mind flashed back to this event when Obi locked up a sitting Governor like him right there in Anambra but see how the hypocrites who called themselves Obidient, most likely kids who were never born at the time or just began following politics in 2023. Everything Obi is receiving now is called karma, he was worse of as Governor and his records shows it. You can't package a fraud as saint. [Was El-Rufai a sitting Governor in 2014? You just want to remain a fuul. Whenever you hear Obi name, gbam! Just jumped into it to criticize without any form of findings.] |
| Re: Nasir El-Rufai's Post About Obi (Throwback) by ElevationD: 9:52am On Jul 20, 2025 |
DeOTR:I don’t see you as one who’s thinking bro. Who’s the world well recognized fraudulent man between the two of them? Between the two, who’s the person whose source of income in not known and yet is rated among the wealthiest men on earth. When they went into the last election, you all relied on Buhari’s acclaimed 12 million votes? What happened, even with the APC in power. He scored 8.9 million votes, the worst in the history of Presidential elections in the country. The same Obi who was said not to have structures shocked all of you. Why is Obi second by second in your thoughts? I wonder how some of you continue to delude yourselves. While your wish is for Obi to run on the same ticket with Atiku, you deliberately ignore that as it stands, Obi rates presently higher by far than Atiku in national politics. The coalition needs him more to authenticate themselves and not vice versa. Why not Obi/Datti on the platform of an organized PDP? How can Tinubu overcome that with his very low national rating and daily dislike from citizens, who are tired of hunger. Or do you want to say that the hunger in the land not enough motivation to get even Lagosians to vote against APC? If Obi does not have the appeal, why do you bother about him? The last Osun state election saw poor performance on the part of LP and you all quickly used it as your standard for the Presidential election. Your shock when the Lagos, Abuja and Delta results were read made headlines. If it was so simple as you claim, why did Tinubu not achieve victory by 1 pm at the last election? Or you think that political jobbers decamping to APC translates to election victory instantly. You forgot that Obi’s name secured seats for unknown persons in the last elections, with even an Okada rider coasting to victory easily? |
