Cucurella - Chilwell

We all saw Terry's contributions in the tournament, but the memorable thing about Jackson was his stupid red card that was the final nail to his coffin as a starter at Chelsea.

The current squad is better, no debate at all.

In my opinion, the 2021 squad over achieved. People say the 2021 squad was balanced but the attack was just average (and the midfield was carried solely by General Ngolo) . We won majorly cos of defensive solidity. Mason Mount was the best attacking player in that squad (goes to show how poor that attack was)

Honestly, when you look back at our 2021 team, the only real top-quality players were Kante,Thiago Silva, Reece James, and Mount. The rest were decent but nothing special just well-drilled under Tuchel’s elite tactics. Let’s not forget we still lost the FA Cup final that year. In terms of raw talent and balance, I think our current squad is stronger and still will achieve more in the future.

I agree. This team looks better but while Silva is the bigger name, Rudiger was better than him in 2021. So if you mention Silva, also mention Rudiger. Rudiger in 2021 is better than all our current CBs. Also Mr reliable Azpi.

See how you omitted Rudiger despite his performance for your team that year

In my opinion, I believe this current squad will edge the 2021 team. The only department where I think the 2021 side had an advantage is the defence, the likes of Rüdiger, Thiago Silva, and Mendy were more solid and reliable than the options we have now.

It's crystal clear that Android dude is just a big hater hiding under the guise of 'fair analysis' to spread his agenda. This guy would have been here to gloat and even dig up posts to tell us how palmer is not 'that guy' had it been his embarrassing prediction came to pass.

I was expecting to even caution him that his apology be as loud as his disrespect but baba no even show face lol. Banter aside, that is a very weak character, weak mentality. You cannot be forming logical, painting your lopsided takes to be without bias and yet when you're proven wrong, you cannot even stand for yourself. Big shame!

Sanchez was mendy plus creativity, so Sanchez edges it, chilwell was good in that game both offensive and defensive but cucurella stopped two or more clear psg goals, and for me neither James or gusto, cesar there's a reason that back three didn't concede against city in that game so I will go for three of them plus cucurella, since I am not using an attacking james or gusto playing rw, Cesar for RB.
