His end game is to ensure that NATO doesn't have a military base in Ukraine. This is the real issue about the war and NATO's reason for keeping the war on. It is in morbid fear of Putin but if Ukraine joins NATO, it's like what US did by planting its proxy, Israel, in the middle East to then build multiple military bases as deterrent and military offensive like was done recently in the Iran-US war

I don't think US is stupid enough to build military bases in Ukraine close to Russia, it was irrational fear on the part of Putin that got him in this mess.

The invasion of Ukraine became counterproductive with Sweden and Finland joining the alliance, but I still believe US will not station any military base in Finland, I think Putin underestimated Ukraine as well.

Take Taiwan for example, despite US relationship with the island country, there are certain redlines they won't cross

I won't totally condemn Putin for defending his country from the west, but he didn't apply wisdom in doing so

Iran was throwing missiles like stone while Israel was fighting the war. Eliminated everything that mattered to Iran including wounding the president. Up till now the war continues on code with Israel having intelligence superiority.

This is a war Putin can never win because ukraine and baltic states have all tasted freedom and will fight to defend it at all cost just like Finland and Sweden in Scandinavia.
Putin only gave Ukraine the perfect excuse now to join Nato because it was never a threat and still can't be a threat to Russia in anyway.
Putin just wanted to flex his muscles.
The longer it drags without an end, the more weakened Russia will look.
A weakened Russia 🇷🇺 is also a plus for "Smart" China not just the west.

Seriously? It’s like you enjoy bullies and Putin is one of them. Why does he feel the need to control a sovereign state? He’s so armed even with nukes, but doesn’t want the Ukraine to join NATO. The other issue is that Russia is massive in land size, but that’s not enough. Putin continues to annex parts of the Ukraine. If all nations started to claim their original land before the colonial boundaries, there’d be no peace. People like Putin are so used to spilling blood that his conscience and emotions are totally numb. He’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means killing in genocidal proportions.

Isreal did not kill a single high profiled individual during the war. They were all assassinated before the war. Most of isreal's success were done pre war and those things led to the war. Drones and mini missiles were smuggled into Iran by MOSAD agents who assassinated military generals and top scientists as well as bombing Iran's key military infrastructure, but despite that, Iran was still able to rally round and retaliated. Isreal's so called strong difense system was exposed . Missiles landed in Tel Aviv and other key areas multiple times.

Since time immemotial, all attacks on Russian soil has always been from Ukraine. Ukraine is more important to Russsia than sweden and Finland.

NATO has categorically refused Ukraines request to join, but of course that didn’t satisfy Putin.

Donald Trump withdrew support on so many levels from Ukraine, the EU and NATO, disapproving weapons sale to Ukraine, kicking Zelenskyy out of the White House, urging the EU and NATO to contribute more to their own defense, but of course that didn’t satisfy Putin.

The UK PM Keir Starmer, along with France and Germany began an ‘coalition of the willing’ to ensure Ukraine’s security and restoration, which has no NATO’s influence.

The EU president Ursula Von De Leyden, vetoed an escalation in security development in the EU. The EU itself is going to war not NATO. They have all increased military spending and Macron wants a missile wall built at the eastern border of Europe. The EU needs Ukraine to hold the forth till 2030, then the war will arrive.

Recently Serbia, Russians associate has moved west. It’s no more about NATO but Putin’s relevance after the war, assess to the Black Sea and Ukrainian rare earth minerals which would increase the US/EU military capacity.

How cant he go back to dealing with day to day issues, fading from the limelight, relegated to a regional warlord, loved by only the likes of China, Columbia and Iran.
This war is his oasis, he can’t face the unemployment that has hit his country through the exit of conglomerates and sanctions.

Trump has turned the screw, September would be very interesting.
