Please my experts in the house, between a Cworth 2.5kwh 24v and a 3.8kwh 12v which is better for a total watts load of 528watts?(freezer inclusive). |

Jbond:24v 2.5kwh is a bigger battery |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 10:30am On Jul 20, 2025 |
Elizkid:very well, always fully charged before 12pm even during rainfall. |

fuckboys:How is a 2.5kwh battery bigger than a 3.8kwh one please. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Elizkid: 10:38am On Jul 20, 2025 |
fuckboys:I mean how many watts do they generate in total Or what do you reckon the number is? How close are they to their rated output? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 10:46am On Jul 20, 2025 |
HeavenlyBang:I just asked Google and I'm wrong. 3.8kwh is the bigger battery. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 10:50am On Jul 20, 2025 |
Elizkid:Cworth panels are very good. I have a total of 4 420w which is 1,680w. I've done 1.3kwh once from the Panels with no load from the battery while powering my 1HP inverter Ac and other loads like fridge and TV. But I wouldn't do that again on my Inverter. The panels can obviously pull more if you apply more load. |

fuckboys:Why, will it damage the inverter or what? And how much did you get the panels? |

Good day Please I want to find out. People who pre ordered the deriy batteries then that was to be available June/July, has it landed? And is their pre order deal legit? |

favouredbymercy:Yeah, it's legit. |

HeavenlyBang:I noticed he later mentioned 3.8kwh is bigger. But my reason for asking was because of the difference in volt in both, normally i know a 3.8kwh is bigger than a 2.5kwh. But because the 2.5kwh is 24v and the 3.8kwh is 12v, hence my confusion on which will be better for a total watts load of 528watts? (freezer inclusive). And is Cworth lifepo4 battery a good brand, or please if you can recommend another better brand bro |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 4:27pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
Jbond:Amp-hours (Ah)= Energy (kWh)×1000 ÷ Voltage (V) So, the 3.8kWh at 12V = 3800÷12≈ 316Ah While 2.5kWh at 24V = 2500+24 ≈104Ah 316Ah is bigger than 104Ah |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 4:38pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
Jbond:Lower voltage just means higher current. Wh is capacity regardless of the voltage vs current split. Just to be sure, you realize your battery and inverter needs to have the same voltage too, right? If you're buying a 12v battery, then you also need a 12v inverter. Cworth is OK at best. Not great. You're better off buying a battery from Mrreed or Valto. Also, it's better to do 24v over 12v. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 6:20pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
ksmart027:yes it might, I use a 1.5kva inverter. I'm already maxing out the inverter already. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 6:30pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
HeavenlyBang:he mentioned a load of just under 600w. The12v 3.8kwh is gonna give him longer backup time and cheaper also. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dacool1(m): 8:10pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
mctfopt:I think it's 208Ah at 12v,either way 316ah is still bigger |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Trippledots(m): 8:20pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
Jbond:I suggest you do that 3.8kwh and a 12v hybrid like bread or haisic 1.5kva inverter. Better soup naim be that. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Lenkus: 9:04pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
Trippledots:Do you have a plug for the haisic 1.5kva 12v inverter or how much is it selling for? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Valto(m): 9:15pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
Jbond:12v 1.6kw hybrid inverter with the 12v 3.8kwh lithuim is a far better combo cheers |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jbond(m): 11:23pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
HeavenlyBang:Thanks boss, but like someone mentioned, wont the 24v be too much for a total load lesser than 600watts |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jbond(m): 11:27pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
fuckboys:Thanks boss for the input, i wanted to go for a 5kwh 24v but because they are all over 1.2m is why i settled for 3.8kwh 12v. But this evening i saw a deal of 5kwh 24v bread brand battery for 880k, and i want to go for it, please is the battery size too much for the total load which is under 600 watts? And is bread a good brand? Thank you |
