Obident Movement in Sokoto State has provides succor to over 100 hospitalized patients in honor of Peter Obi’s 64th birthday. Under this humanitarian service, 100 vulnerable patients on admission at Maryam Abacha Women and Children Hospital Sokoto received a token support of N5,000 cash each to enable them settle their medical bills. The state coordinator of the movement, Abubakar Yawale, who led other members during the disbursement visit, also said a similar event is happening simultaneously across the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. “We are doing this because this is what our principal, Peter Obi, has been clamoring for. “Our political mentor, Obi, has been doing this before and after the 2023 general elections.” Yawale vividly remembered that last year, Obi was in Sokoto and commissioned a borehole and another project at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto. He stated that the funds shared to the patients were sponsored by their leader to mark Peter Obi’s birthday. While reminding the residents in the state to know who cares for them and who is there for them, Yawale said, “People should know that Peter Obi and his Obedient Movement are always ready to assist and provide humanitarian services to make people feel better.” He assured the Sokoto community that with their efforts, a new Nigeria is possible – “a new Nigeria that can work for the benefit and betterment of Nigerians, not just a chosen few.” He called on people to vote for a better candidate in the next 2027 general elections and expressed optimism that Obi is the first among equals. https://iwitnesslive.com/2025/07/20/obi-at-64-obident-movement-supports-100-vulnerable-patients-in-sokoto-hospital/?amp=1

That's what democracy is all about On the other hand, obidients showing that politics is not all about thuggery.
