Na this kind death will all need to know how it happened and to be sure there’s no foul play or jealous business partner.
RIP bro.
We all know your future is very bright, sadly it ends here.
Goodnight.

His death needs thorough investigation, if Esau could kill Abel for sake of being accepted by God than himself.

Half baked story. What killed him?

It's very unusual to die at 36. Even in Nigeria.

RIP to the guy.

Crap. If the lung cancer was the cause of his symptoms for 8yrs, he'd had been long gone.

The focus should be on pressurising the government to equip and invest in the local workforce. Healthcare, security and economic growth are things you can't import. We'd have to build capacity.
I was treated in Nigerian hospital for malaria and typhoid fever for over 5yrs. I was giving up hope but I decided not to die.

So I visited this primary health care center in my area and met a young doctor. Long story short I had ulcer. My stomach walls was being eaten up by a bacterial infection. I could have died.

36 years is just too young. However,he looks fat although in Nigeria we say it's a normal body.Being Fat could lead to diseases like type 2 diabetes, stroke, gout, some form of cancer, obesity,High BP, sleep apnea, chronic liver disease, kidney issues etc .
Exercise is important.Exercise like your life depends on it because it does.lt is the single most powerful tool available for a better health span and lifespan.

I can't comment on your story as its all sketchy.

Like I said, healthcare in Nigeria is not removed from the wider environment. Our politicians tell us we don't have the income as a nation to afford modern healthcare for the general populace yet, those same politicians are paid much higher than their western counterparts while still using public funds to get treated abroad.

I've not even gone to our mega places of worship and the billions they receive.

How much do you think an average ambulance callout costs the government in the UK? Yet the government pays that freely for everyone.

UK doctors are not coming to save Nigerians. We better start holding our own doctors and leaders accountable

Life is becoming scary. Young people dying in their prime, their active and productive years.

May God rest his soul and grant his family and friends the fortitude to bare the loss.
Both young and old are dying in Nigeria because of our poor healthcare system

How do we build capacity in Nigeria without adequate electricity supply, in the midst of insecurity, hunger and plunging education standards?

Reduce reproductive rate. Currently too high and well above our economic growth rate. We need financial capacity to build infrastructure and public services.

First it was Chika, now Abiola is gone.

Abiola offered to buy my first game way back in 2015/16 and Chika helped build my first commercial product idea in 2014.

Life is crazy. No one knows tomorrow.

Babangidapikin:
Gamsole founder, and Techpoint Africa’s first angel investor, Abiola Olaniran dies at 36

Abiola Olaniran, the soft-spoken software engineer who turned a campus coding hobby into one of Africa’s best-known mobile-gaming brands, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, aged 36. Sources close to the family confirm that the Gamsole founder was buried the same day in a private ceremony. Although he shunned the limelight, Olaniran’s résumé reads like a highlight reel of Africa’s emerging tech scene.

After leading his Obafemi Awolowo University team to national victory in the 2010 Microsoft Imagine Cup, he doubled down on game development and, two years later, incorporated Gamsole in Lagos. At a time when Africa’s gaming scene was almost non-existent, he chose the then-new Windows Phone store as his launchpad, cranking out colourful casual titles that resonated far beyond Nigeria’s borders.

By early 2015 Gamsole had crossed the 10-million-download mark across Windows Phone, Android and feature-phone stores, a milestone that placed the company, and African game development, on the global map. That same year, the studio announced its flagship endless runner title, Gidi Run, which it would later launch in partnership with MTN, ushering in a new approach to games monetisation within Africa.
