Pms is selling at an average price of 890 all over the country and not 1000. That notwithstanding, no region is responsible for the current price of pms. The increase in price from what it was in the early months of 2023 to the current price is simply as a result of removal of subsidy and floating of exchange rate. In simple terms , it is the result of government’s policy decision. A very good decision at that considering Nigeria’s economic realities.

Again, there is no greedy region as every Nigerian as the right to legitimately aspire to any political office. It is a constitutional right. If the candidate from your region was defeated at the polls, accept defeat in good faith and stop blaming the region the victorious candidate came from. Tell your candidate to be more strategic and acceptable nationally next time.

Simple question: why did you resist the effort of GEJ to remove fuel subsidy? It would have been a simple adjustment from 87 to 120, with some human face. If the BAT and Buhari, along with their cohorts did not resist the effort, would the country be grappling with such level of misery by now? The same fuel subsidy that BAT called evil, has become his instrument to make the economy better. After wasting 10 years, he brought untold hardship on the citizens.
