Tinubu did not remove fuel subsidy. He is paying subsidy in another form. The problem with fuel price has always been the devaluation of Naira. Do you think that if crude is sold to Dangote at the international market price you can afford it? It would be about $1.00 per litre ~ N1560

This is the first time we are having true value of naira to dollar as being dictated by our economy.
when did dangote naira for crude come into being effectively? even as we speak, dangote is still getting crude from outside to augement the local supply he's getting.
Even after the removal, the pump price was cheaper before dangote came in.

Anyone who thinks otherwise should give us a realistic pathway to his re-election. Facts available show the north produced 60-65% votes in the last three elections cycle. NW and NE alone produced 48%. Tinubu can no longer get 5.6m votes in the North in 2023, and every vote lost by Tinubu is a potential vote gained by Atiku. The North has largely aligned, but the South will not align under Tinubu. Atiku got 6.9m votes in 2023 when the clamour for power to move South was more stronger than it is now.

In as much as I want Obi in ADC, if he leaves, he shares paltry southern votes with Tinubu, unlike in 2023. Tinubu destroyed the North-Southwest alliance due to greed and "Winner takes all" mentality. The Northeast has also never produced a President. Atiku is eminently qualified and justified to contest in 2027.

I am from Anambra state and I support Obi but Obi has to align with Atiku or he will never get to aso Rock. If he goes Solo, Tinubu will be affected more this time because Tinubu is banking on southern votes to be reelected. Atiku is the next president of Nigeria. Bookmark this comment

I usually don't do this but I will help you out here.
Nigeria's budget for 2025 is about 57trn with about 250m citizens.
Plus or minus it gives u about 250k spent on each citizen every year. Inclusive of infrastructure, health, education, security and whatever u might think off. It's called per capital income.
This is why u never feel the impact of governance.
Inclusive in this is also the ones the politicians will steal.

So u see that we can't keep funding subsidy and defending the Naira at the expense of the citizenry.

What we need as a country is someone who has the capacity to quadruple our igr and our FDI.
Now out of the 3 leading contestants who has replicated this before? Who is your go to guy for this kind of Job?

I know u a blinded Obidient but u see when we earn enough and we need to save our money in the bank we will call Mr Obi.
But right now we need bright minds who can increase our IGR.
