Nigerian TikTok stars Jarvis and Peller have officially confirmed their engagement, months after sparking speculation with a controversial livestream proposal in December 2024.

The 23-year-old content creator, who initially dismissed Peller’s public proposal as nothing more than a “promise ring,” has now revealed that the couple is indeed engaged—though marriage plans remain on hold for now. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

During a recent interview with Channels TV, Jarvis opened up about the relationship, admitting she was initially hesitant. “I believe we will get married at the right time. Marriage is a big step, so you have to be careful,” she said. “But yes, we are engaged. Peller actually proposed—and honestly, it surprised me too.”

She also addressed why she hasn’t been seen wearing the engagement ring, explaining, “It didn’t fit my finger, so I decided to keep it safe at home instead.”
