AMINDA:Atiku is no more in PDP and won't contest 2027 election under PDP but ADC. So how many southern states can ADC win when PDP, Obi and APC will be on the ballot? It will be hard for him getting 25% in any southern states. Northern votes alone can't make Atiku President. |

Let Makinde divide South West vote for either Atiku or Obi. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by Shawarmagirl: 12:11pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
ADC should take note. Should PDP zone the ticket to North, just know is a trap from Wike and APC to divide the North votes. Let PDP zone it to South. |

AMINDA:Imagine Bala Mohammed winning PDP ticket and contesting against Atiku and Tinubu, can’t you see that he will be dividing Atiku’s votes and not Tinubu’s? |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by appleous: 12:20pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
Makinde, a butterfly thinking itself a bird. This explains the fictitious contracts he is awarding up and down (Government house #69bn renovation et.al) He is only accumulating money for political players to eat, as he stands zero chance of becoming president. I guess he will be compensated by his liege lord, Tinubu. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by AMINDA: 12:24pm On Jul 21, 2025*. Modified: 1:17pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
jahsharon:Maybe but it's vice versa. Now imagine Seyi Makinde and even Obi contesting seperately alongside Tinubu. That splits the Southern votes into 3 and Obi will still get the highest vote among the 3 in Southern Nigeria if the elections were to be free and fair. Now, tell me, what is Tinubu's pathway to re-election? If PDP zones their ticket to Bala Mohammed, they would also not have the moral justification to make 2027 about "turn of the south". Heads or tail, Atiku would get the highest votes across the 19 Northern states in all permutations. He only needs to work hard to get the required spread in a few states in the South. That is achievable. |

AMINDA:e be like say you dey see Tinubu for your dream anytime you sleep. 10 mankides can't stand Tinubu in the south west, even if it's only Atiku in the north, Tinubu will still best him hands down, so rest and have peace. |

AMINDA:you keep dreaming, go and look for a better job to help your life and leave Tinubu alone. Let all Nigerians Contest against Tinubu he will still win. Know this, and know peace. |

PDP is still in Wikes hands, PDP will remain a party on paper. But close to the election date, they will declare support for APC, citing ADC fielding Northern candidate-Atiku as unfair on the southerners. They will start using slogans like, fairness, equal representation and unity of Nigeria is important to us first, after that we can talk about political difference. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by yemmit90: 1:32pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
AMINDA:Who on earth will waste his money contesting for president under PDP? No sensible politicians will sponsor a candidate under the umbrella of PDP. They are APC team B, they will just give the ticket to one irrelevant Kwara, Bayelsa or Kogi man. Or better still a Yoruba whose nobody can exchange for Tinubu. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by Sheuns(m): 2:24pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
opes:You think if 2 northerners and 2 southerners contest for the presidency in 2027, it will be a walk in the park for Tinubu? Considering how his administration and him have lost popularity amongst those that voted in the last election due to his policies that have further impoverished millions. Stop talking all these, 2027 isn’t sure for anyone. Just as 2023 wasn’t sure for anyone until after the elections were conducted. |

| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by opes: 2:52pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
Sheuns:Agreed, but i believe that if the three Southerners; Peter Obi, Makinde and Tinubu contest the 2027 election separately against the Northerner Atiku, it will still hurt Atiku. Both Makinde and Obi will be sharing the "old" PDP votes with him. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by Tflex01: 3:30pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
AMINDA:Relax! Tinubu will complete his two terms. Southerners may support Obi in 2031. Tinubu will soon render your so-called "Northern votes" useless. |
