Mrreed:
How about a 25.6v 7.1kwh for 820k (wooden case) or the same battery capacity in a metal case for 900k?

If you would also like to DIY, I have
REPT 280AH 82K
Eve 150ah 57k
Haba boss, i was even asking if the 5kwh was not too much for the total load of 528 watts, you come dey come up with 7.1kwh? Its well.

And by the way i am not doing the DIY ish, thanks.

Nothing like too big....
So far you can charge it back..
It is not a crime to earn 3m monthly while you spend just 500k. grin

fuckboys:
at this point, I think you should just go with mrreed offer then pair it with a 3.5kva inverter from bread, cworth or haisic.

And you know the bigger the battery bank, the more panels you would need to cover for it. This setup requires at least 2,500w of solar power.
So when i go for 3.8kwh or the 5kwh, how many watts of solar panels will i need in total?

Lol bro, this your example no follow o, i dont mind earning 10m monthly and just spend 2m monthly.

But its because i keep seeing people mention idle time abi idle consumption and the rest, so i feel its better to buy what one can comfortably consume rather than buying something larger than what one needs at the moment

There's two actually

The 2nd one is only cracked at the back since it's bifacial. The front is clean no crack

Do you Reckon it's a good buy?
buy the 2pcs for 100k, very fair price ..cracked panel= reduced harvest

Make COU or cut-off Voltage to 48V if it can go that high, but if not, make DTA 49V.

while CU is 55.2 and FLU is 54 ...... This is a more conservative battery parameters for 16s LIFEPO4 Battery
Thanks so much. When the battery got full a red triangle kept flashing and here is some info displayed in the pictures. Kindly advise. Had to turn off all power sources incase

528w load on 5kwh battery will give you 8.5-9,5 hours estimate

All the 5kw 24v you will see will never be cheaper than Mrreed. If you can ,close eye and go for it since it's higher capacity, smart BMS and grade A cell.Chargkng won't be a problem because you will hardly deplete all capacity and even at 50amps charging current ,battery will be full in less than 6 hours

Bro, i am not in lagos, i reside in Abuja, and i am not a fan of buying things from another state to be sent down to Abuja, not my thing, and i am not doing the DIY ish either.

If he was here in Abuja i wont mind buying from him, i always physically go to the warehouse or shop where i want to buy to see what i am buying, and also so that incase of any issue whoever sold to me can easily come around, unlike when it is sent from another state, so thats my point bro, thanks

Ok ooo but I know he won't run with your money.Valto is in Delta and a lot of people here have bought from him including myself.Mrreed is in Kaduna,I haven't bought from him but I can guarantee he will not run away with your money. These are people who have built their name on this platform overtime.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by olopan(m): 4:13pm On Jul 21, 2025
It's good that you were proactive to turn off power sources.

What voltage was displayed on the battery screen? Please share your inverter parameters/settings for verification, in case there is a mistake.

alarm; full, Power/supply over voltage warning [ it think]:pOVW sOVW, protect mechanism enaged; pOVP

Its obvious no one answers genuine questions again here but its rather about marketing for the diy sellers here, i gave my own personal reasons why i want to buy these equipments within the state i reside, you still dey tell me he delivered within 48 hours. If i wanted to buy from any of them i would have contacted them already, even the question i asked no one replied, instead na marketing una dey do.

Anyway thanks for your input.

I am not marketing for valto

The choice is yours to make, enter fouani and pick whatever brand you want

Anything less than 5kwh will not serve you in the long run, mind you panel should be around 6 to 8 pieces of 615w

This is a DIY forum where people share knowledge and stuff, they telling you about a better deal doesn’t mean they are marketing but rather a better value for your money and no one is forcing it on you because at the end of the day it’s your choice to make either to patronize SMe or buy brands.

If you like buy it next door, when issue arise it is then you will understand that closeness sometimes does not guarantee quick response when it comes to solar system.

Majority of all these stores just sell inverter batteries, when problem arising you will begin to hear stories why you are at fault and why it will take days to fix
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by olopan(m): 9:08pm On Jul 21, 2025
All is fine from this angle if the battery is a 16s battery.

can you please send a picture of the sticker on the battery? I am having this feeling it's a 15s battery.

@15s the batteries will all be more than full, which is 3.68V instead of sticker of 3.65V, which for long-time usage is pretty bad.

Y'all should free a grown up man, trying to make decisions for him like he's a kid.

He probably has his reason and don't need to be forced to make decisions he doesn't want to.

Jbond just buy whatever it is you want, at the end of the day it's your money and nobody has the right to decide for you what to buy and where to buy it.
