Oga, local government elections are for people registered to vote there having shown proof of residence in other to register, this is regardless of tribe.

Ndigbo in particular as well as other non indigines in Lagos State have been politically active for a long time now and Ndigbo have actually ended up in Alausa as House of rep. Members, they also have been elected as ward reps within various LG's.
