If castrated, it means he can't get an erection again? And he will loose his sexual feelings? I am against castration but I recommend a death sentence a speedy execution.

castration is not penile amputation. The girl did not die thankfully.

I support death penalty for things like this even though my moral convictions are against it.

The guy is getting away with a life imprisonment. Although life in prison for child rapists can be worse than death

My only problem with these laws against rape of minors is that when the table is turned and the female gender becomes the culprit, everybody would look away while the boy child suffers all the psychological trauma.

Imagine that footballer that clearly got molested by the 24yo lady before he clocked 18, now everybody is hailing the lady and even getting ready to attend such wedding. Assuming it was the other way round, law suits would be flying around until the guy is sent to jail.

Hypocrisy of the world people is really nauseating! I'm not supporting rape of any kind but the laws should be applied equally to the two genders.

The man may appeal the judgment.
The problem with surgical castration is that it is irreversible.
What happens if later it is discovered that there was a mistake in the conviction.

Gave him a lifelong punishment. Good.

So is he getting a vasectomy or having his JT cut off ..

After the castration, I hope he will be left in jail.

It's good he lives a life of pain and remembrance.

How I wish this law can be passed into law in Nigeria. But of course some will take advantage of it to deal with perceive enemies

If you still get opportunity to be on one important leadership position,you no go want such to happen. Na why our so called leaders,will never allow laws like that
