Anioma is the most reasonable state to be added yo the SE. Certain persons over the years have allowed political sentiments to be loud their senses of reasoning. They have become so confused and ended up rejecting their blood and cultural identity of being Igbo people. Whether you choose to call yourself Ibo or Igbo, you are an Igbo person. If you choose to align with the strange political thoughts of being descendants of Nupe or Benin people, that’s your problem to figure out. The fact of the matter is that as long as you are from Delta north, you are by blood an Igbo person.

Boundary creations led to dividing Akoko Edo people between Edo and Ondo states. Their identity was not taken as they all relate as one. Boundary creation split Egbema people between Imo and Rivers states. Their identities remain the same. The same language, the same people. The same in other areas of the nation. One wonders why certain persons continue to live in illusion, thinking that Anioma state, a move which was started too many years ago, will not happen. All we are waiting for is the amendment of the constitution in December and then Anioma state will come alive finally. It will become the sixth state of the SE. It makes more sense than creating Adada, etc, out of the already existing states. Since we have Brother’s across the Niger in Delta north, it makes better sense to bring them all home. Let Emeka be Emeka and not pretend to be Osawaru, etc. Even the great citizens of Delta South and Central call those of Delta North Igbo ompeople. So why all the political Wayo?

Creating a new state comes with a lot of political opportunities like getting more nass members, ministers and ambassador it brings more development to abandoned communities because of the creation of more local govt areas. Hope u also know the uhrobos have presented a bill for the creation of ethiope state which has just passed second reading where will that now leave the anioma people?

Una sabi analyze delta concern from east. Na who tell Una say urhobos, Ijaw, itshekiris see delta north as Igbo. We are all one and equal in everything in the state. Central Ruled from 1998 to 2007, south ruled from 2007 till 2015, north ruled from 2015 till 2023 and got same support from 2 other districts, even defeating uroboh man from.central fielded by opposing parties. Secondly delta north isn't Igbo and they will vote against being lumped with east. East should divide to make 6 if they need a state

See how politics come let you deny your identity? While you are busy claiming equality with the rest of Delta, they are busy asking for Ethiope, Warri and Niger Delta states respectively. Tell me how those ones want to take carry you, Igbo person, along with them.

You are seeing the reality as it’s going and continue in self denial. After Anioma state is achieved, you can pack to Ogbomosho or Amukoko if you like.

Even the 5 states are still not being managed well..
Small landmass and huge FAAC, still everywhere looks like a mess.

5 governor, over 40 house of rep members, and 15 senators can't fix or manage a region that is not more than Oyo state in size.

If we go according to the parable of the talents in the bible, the existing 5 should actually reduce.

Those na senators. This is old news forget the sensations about it. They only increased by 5. Simple. Last last na referendum go end am.those senators no go vote. Na we indigenes go vote, not those sitting at home today, Monday go vote. No square inch of south will be added to east. Its easier for me to rule, then my son as direct successor, than anioma online state. Easterners jumping like chickens. Adding any part of south to east is like join u.s to Nigeria as one country
