Going to 2 months now, legalization at the Russian embassy has become impossible and due to this issue a lot of this a lot of student Visa have been rejected 😳 , because without docs get legalized no Visa can be given, and any legalization in Russia Embassy cost #97k per documents ,

The funny part is that some people have payed twice just to get their document legalized and still got rejected without any refunds, and every appointments with the consular in Russia 🇷🇺 Embassy, you will be asked to payed and if finally you are rejected , Their would not be any refund and no reason will be given to you why you are rejected 😉.
Imagine if you are to legalized 3 documents that's #291k and you are asked to pay twice or thrice just to get your docs legalized and still no avail.

This issue is still valid and nothing has been done ✔️ 😒 👏 🙃

Legalisation in Nigeria is a big scam, and the Nigerian government should look into it.

For example, France will authenticate each civil documents for 350,000 Naira (Price as at January this year).

Imagine going to France with your wives and two children, and they need to authenticate all their birth certificates and marriage certificates, you can do the calculation.

Birth certificate that cost about 20k naira to get, you spend 350k to authenticate it.

For Finland, its about 450k per documents. So if you have three kids, then 450k x 3, and if you add your marriage certificate, then you add extra 450k for that.

Its a rip off, and these are one of the ways Nigerians are punished systematically. Only the government can intervene and prevent this.

All of these are just attempts to stop Nigerians from traveling... Embassies telling people to legalize documents from them at an exhorbitant rate is a crime that should be reported to the Nigerian authorities. You can send an email to the MFA (ministry of foreign affairs) on this...

By the way, I don't know why anyone would want to visit Russia at this period in time... The war could get out of hand in a second and many could lose their lives.

Just so confused.... I have done legalisation at the ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of education,sometimes around April... Does that mean,it has no effect to the visa application pls?

problem is u can't even visit the embassy for Legalization when u have not book a date online....and it's not advisable to legalize when u have not been recommended for admission but if u have the money do it first

yes u will be given a number and u will wait for them to send u email to book a date when ur number is due. Have u booked a date now. Send me ur whatsapp number if u need more help

I thought there are university that students can probably legalize their documents after admission letter have given??

Because the university I am applying to needs to see legalised documents first before giving admission letter

u can't authenticate scanned copy not to talk of legalize ooo. Go get the original hand signed from ur school waybill to u
