Sorry about your percived experience.
This is primarily a diy forum and it is instinctual for members to point you towards their best deals.

However, because of your restriction of buying from someone local, your best bet is to look for someone on Google. You can then share the options you get / prices. Most likely you will be buying a branded system.
1.8m is a lot of money. Cworth systems are not bad. Avoid Felicity if you can. 600w is not bad on a 12v system. Buy the largest battery you can get. The Haisic 12v plus inverter is about 650k 4kwh. It's backup time for your load will be about 5 hours. Their 24v all in one is about 1.25-1.3m, you should get your 10 hours from this and it allows you to expand your load. Good luck.

Its obvious no one answers genuine questions again here but its rather about marketing for the diy sellers here, i gave my own personal reasons why i want to buy these equipments within the state i reside, you still dey tell me he delivered within 48 hours. If i wanted to buy from any of them i would have contacted them already, even the question i asked no one replied, instead na marketing una dey do.

If you like buy it next door, when issue arise it is then you will understand that closeness sometimes does not guarantee quick response when it comes to solar system.

Majority of all these stores just sell inverter batteries, when problem arising you will begin to hear stories why you are at fault and why it will take days to fix

Bro, mind you, this is not my first solar rodeo, i have been on tubular and 1.5kva inverter for some years now, and the guys that intstalled it for me anytime i see anything i dont understand, within hours they are at my place and the issue is resolved.

I only came here to seek advice simply because i am going the lithium way, so easy with the next door or next state talk, anyway let me even leave the platform for you all because from all replies it has been reeking of hostility the moment i mentioned i am not buying from here, have a lovely day.

Bro if the title of the thread had diy tagged to it, i wont have bothered opening it or joining the thread because things like this for me, i dont diy, i leave it for the professionals. I saw solar energy on the thread title, though i dont know what the FTA means, thats why i decided to seek advice simply because i wanted to upgrade from tubular i have been using for a while now to lithium and just needed to know what and what i will be needing, i have never bought anything here on nairaland or any other online platform and never intended to either.
Anyway i will exit the thread and let them be before curse and insult go enter the matter.

While you might have not meant to be rude, your response indicated to me that you either don't appreciate or are just not willing to gain from the reservoir of experience/knowledge people have on here- which is not the end of the world.

I have not really followed your posts since then but I guess people have also noticed a bit of what I did and that's why they are just telling you what to do instead of explaining why they are advising you to do so.

Simply put, we've had some people who sold cells and made batteries in Abuja but they've been found wanting (at least the ones I remember). If people are recommending mrreed that's in Kaduna (or is it kano) and Valto that is in Bayelsa, its because we KNOW their goods work and we KNOW you will get support even if you aren't in the same state as most of us don't even reside in Kaduna or Bayelsa.

People have lost good money on here, because they believed in shops or renegade sellers who came here and promised heaven and earth....that did not stop those affected from being their brother's keeper and revealing their experiences while ensuring they enrich everyone here with their knowledge gained the hard way, with blood and tears.

If you need to physically inspect your purchase from a local shop it is fine, but that will not stop you from being cheated or someone telling you that they will not honour warranty, especially when they can prove u might have made an honest misstep in the setup (which happens as everyone is learning)....and even established businesses like Fouani do this ( yes a whole LG).

Learn to believe in people and more importantly learn to believe in yourself that you are a good judge of character.... even if you get burnt, we only live once and living in fear and unfounded distrust isn't the way to spend one's life.

I wish you the best whatever your decisions are.

A pretty educative video from Will on the dangers of Lithium Ion....and yes I know the chemistry mentioned is slightly different from our beloved lifepo, but we can all still learn a thing or two from the guy's heartbreaking experience.

The inverter can charge your battery with grid as well

That's 330k to 360k

Except you don't know how to calculate wattage, the load you listed cannot possibly consume 200-300w. Let's say you calculate it properly and manage to make the load 100w, The battery at 90% dod will power it for 11hrs when fully charged.

The inverter can produce 40a AC charging, which is fast for a battery of that size and should get it full in 2hrs, 30m with Nepa light.

You can decide to add one solar panel later to charge it with sun. A CWorth 420w panel is 89k or thereabout.

At 5hrs peak sunlight, this will get your battery full in 3hrs-4hrs, depending on the sun intensity. Also with that solar array, your battery won't get discharged while carrying load during the day. The inverter can power your load directly without feeding from your battery

I have been reading your responses and it doesn't tally at all. What I see so far are people who genuinely wish to help you. They have shared their advice and experience but instead of appreciating this you just came out guns blazing. Shitting on their efforts with your negative aura. They had the option to stay quiet but regardless they were more than happy to help. I'm able to get the right set-up thanks to this group. If you knew that this isn't your first rodeo then I believe you are already well equipped. Don't forget, like you we are all human and we should act accordingly ,professionally and with empathy.

Oga, buy your battery from whoever you want to buy from. Nobody here owes you anything and if anyone gave you recommendations, it's because they're trying to help you. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hi. Good morning. With regards to the battery yes, it is a very sturdy build, and you can never go wrong with it. Comes with a 150amps smart bms with Bluetooth connectivity and a digital display.

If you want videos or more pics, I can furnish you with that. You can quote me with your WhatsApp number, and we'll take it from there. As for visiting, that won't be necessary.

You will make no mistakes buying from nairaland builders, their cells are actual capacities, much better than most popular brands here. My decision to go with mrreed was strictly on budget.

The build is big, beautiful and VERY heavy, it beat my expectation in build quality. You can never go wrong with mrreed.

can you please send a picture of the sticker on the battery? I am having this feeling it's a 15s battery.

@15s the batteries will all be more than full, which is 3.68V instead of sticker of 3.65V, which for long-time usage is pretty bad.

For me the best way to tell your actual wattage is usually from your prepaid meter.
Using conlog #070# it usually tells me what my load is.

What is your bulk charging voltage presently? But know that except you are charging to 3.65v per cell, you are not charging up to 100%

This did it oh!
I checked and it was at 52v. The setting option says once the battery is tagged full according to settings, the inverter will stop charging the battery till the battery discharges and gets below a particular voltage point (which was set to 52.0v).
Why will SRNE have such unnecessary complications?
Any way, i set it to 54.8v which unfortunately is the highest it can set to. A minute or so after i applied the setting, for the first time ever the inverter started charging the battery in front of me. The "full" icon disappeared.

What this means is that, the inverter will now charge my battery to 56.0v (charge and float voltage i set it to) and then stop charging and will discharge the battery to 54.8v before picking up again to charge till 56.0v. What a pain? What now happens to the float setting that is at 56.0v? Its now useless?

The below image also shows that when it finally started charging, 3kw is coming from Sun, but only 24A is charging the battery which is around 1300w. Where did other power go to?

Why did people rate SRNE as top inverter when it has all these confusion in it?
Felicity is far better and straight forward than this SRNE.

Many of these brands need to make their documentation easy to understand.
