The Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Paul Ohonbamu, in an interview said that Obi’s visit allegedly led to a stampede in the state, resulting in at least three deaths.

According to his statement, "Intelligence reports confirmed that two people died in the hospital. They were rushed there. Many of these things we don’t alert the public about. But you know, anywhere Obi enters, there’s this euphoria, and people rush after him. That can cause a stampede. The governor doesn’t want casualties in the state."

However, when he was pressed to reveal the exact gathering where the death was recorded, he could go no further, and resorted to random statements.

I watched it live during which Kayode of Channels Tv asked him that and he parried the question and was talking about different thing altogether, he was reminded by the second lady and he still did not answer or back the claim. He was busy explaining the death itself and not the cause

Disgraceful. Now saying Obi causes euphoria and later came to his senses that he might be saying the truth which they're not allowed to do. Then changed it to "It didn't reflect in votes". I personally don't think Obi is a messiah though but better than all hos opponents
