At this point, the only thing changing is the signboard, not the mindset.
No real ideology, just personal interests. And sadly, it's always the common man that pays the price.

Damagum the presiding acting chairman who his reign destroyed the party PDP Will be remembered for his role! It amazes me some youths called themselves member of PDP still praising Damagum because of monthly stipend. Very disheartening.

Honestly, this people moving from one party to another are afraid of defeat. If you had worked for your people, it is ur people that woud speak for you.

The Aregbe faction that helped him to win in 2022 is likely to field a candidate under ADC, this has brighten the chance of APC winning. Even if Adeleke decides to join Aregbe in the ADC, it won't save him, as the PDP will still present its own candidate, leading to a split in votes

In politics and life generally it is counter-productive to foreclose relationships so long as they are beneficial and you have in place an exit passageway out of the arrangement. Obafemi Awolowo missed out on that critical rule of power. If he had played his cards right the Presidency was his with Shehu Shagari as Vice-President. Nigeria would have been better off for it. Rigidity will bring you into ossification.

I think Adeleke’s mistake was that he contested under Pdp..

His brother, Deji and the elder brother that died, Isiaka were ACN big stakeholders back in the days. Infact, Isiaka was going to contest for Governor under ACN cuz he already won the party primaries but death occur. If not for Deji, I doubt they would have allowed Adeleke to meet Tinubu at all!

His only saving grace now is Tinubu but I don’t even know how Tinubu wants to balance Osun equation. It’s very dicey!

Adeleke might have supported Atiku but one thing about Osun/Atiku is that they always voted Atiku! Even before Adeleke..

Atiku himself said it that Osun is the only state that is always certain for him! Osun will still vote Atiku in 2027 but Tinubu will win!

Those senators are gone already. Osun is not for APC. Even if Adeleke decamp today, he is not coming back. It's now very clear that no one is interested in the development of this country. They are just after their own pockets.
