Don't other politicians come to Edo state?

Do you know of any high-profile politician who has gone there without informing the governor? I really don't know why we do this, particularly low brand of politics in this country. It is a norm here that he should inform the governor and one can see some logical reasons for this. Is it one big task to simply inform the governor and then go about your lawful business?

What is bad in what this governor said? He is the CSO of his state and have the right to tell any VIP to inform him before coming to his state especially when using the public institutions.

Every Nigerian has d right to go to anywhere within Nigeria. It's a personal choice to approach d Nigeria Police force division for escort if u feel ur safety is not guaranteed in d area.

Informing a governor,(Nigerian politician) can even pose greater security risk.

Gov. Okpebholo as the chief security officer of the state has the right to tell Obi what he said. We know how destructive obidients are online and in person and to avoid unnecessary chaos in the state, Mr Obi should inform the governor so that appropriate security measures will be implemented before his arrival.

How Okpebholo became a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria in the first place, is a question that even a professor emeritus in academia cannot answer, even with full grant as sponsoship. From there, he became a governor. Someone with his clear conscience will still convince us that Nigeria is moving forward. Is it with this type of leaders that Nigeria will move forward?
